follow these steps exactly as written and tell me what happens. 1. open a new document 2. click your paint brush tool. 3. check which brush you are using by clicking on the paint brush icon in the menu bar. 4. select the hard round brush. 5. set the pixels to 50. 6. select the foreground color to be black. 7. create a new layer. 8. Make sure the new layer is selected as your active layer. 9. paint with the brush

do you understand Layers in Ps? Why do you have so many layers open? which layer are you painting on? Open your brush settings window and check your brush settings to control scatter, direction, jitter etc.

Turn the Rulers off and try Painting. (Ctrl+R to toggle the Rulers on/off)

Also, disabling the the 'Native Canvas Rulers' in the Preferences may improve painting performance. That works for some people.

That's always the first thing you'd want to try. I only asked about Drawing Tablets and Rulers because there are various things with that combo that can cause brush lag.

And I've experienced it with various versions of Ps.

without gpu u can do too cuz u have good processor but if u have a gpu then its much better. gpus like gtx 660 or better than that (gt 710,730 and 1030 not included)

Probably running on iGPU if it's an 10th-gen i3 laptop, 600-series would be very unlikely

also, IIRC the latest versions don't exactly like hardware that dated (recommendations are GTX 900 and up?)

but anyway, should be able to pull off some basic editing without a dedicated GPU, performance probably won't be ideal though.

Probably many reasons. They were adding functionality to Photoshop that probably doesn't belong in there. Thus, they want build/market a new line of apps specifically targeted for 3d design/modeling, etc. Also, they're a business so they probably want to sell more apps. heh

a problem for this may be the compression of the image, so export the image with the right size, or maybe the format, maybe if you exported it as a jpeg, export it as a png

e.g. watch a tutorial for how to recolour a car from orange to green. Once done, then see if you can follow the same steps to turn a t-shirt from blue to red....

Photoshop will Autosave with versioning but you have to save to the cloud...using the PSDC file.

Also, AutoRecover can sometimes get back a file if the app crashes.

Never used that shortcut actually, anyway you can use alt and drag up and down with the right click

RAF is a raw image format used by Fujifilm cameras. It looks like you have both RAW and JPEG versions of the images.

The JPEGs are should open with any standard image viewer. The RAW files you'll open in Adobe Camera Raw (via Bridge).

I don't really use Mac or a Fuji camera so I'm no help there.

But if you open Bridge and navigate to the folder, you should be able to Preview all the files from there. Select the first image and tap the Spacebar. Then use the arrow keys to cycle through the images.

It looks like ACR supports Fujifilm RAW format so it should be fine... https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

Many diff cameras anyways. If not, Adobe makes a converter that will convert RAW files to their DNG format.

You can also use Lightroom for this I guess. But that is going to catalog all the images and please don't ask me questions about it b/c I have no idea how to use that. :)

If you right-click on the file and choose open in Adobe Camera Raw, you can make non-destructive adjustments to the image. Its going to create an XMP sidecar file. Don't delete it. heh

There are 20 ways to achieve the same effect in photoshop, it kinda depends on case-by-case basis.... - My first suggestion would be to try and find the same font online and recreate it

Not sure what exactly you're trying to achieve by editing a blurry face, but I can tell you that editing/composition work is a skill like any other. You first learn the tools and then explore what you can do with them. Depending on your goal, it can take months or years to reach a subjective "good" level of editing.

If you're looking to get better, search up some tutorials to get familiar with Photoshop or other software. Then you can start really honing in your skills

i want this 2 layers to be in different positions because there's another layer between them so i dont think i can group/folder them together. is it possible if i turn off one of the layers visibility, the other will also be turned off automatically ? and same as turning their visibility on

This allows you to save 'snapshots' of different layers being turned on and off. - It's handy when keep finding yourself having to hide and view different layers during either the build or export process of a photoshop file

Not really familiar with what file formats Unity supports. Perhaps a PNG sequence.

Import the frames and rebuild in Unity to playback on a loop.

Well it looks like you've solved the movement aspect already. I think you can follow the same approach but maybe put a gradual gradient mask on the left and right sides of the cloud... give me a moment...

@tulip barn - Here is a quick way to see how you could try masking.... - there are a load of ticks that can sometimes be used, based around channels, blend modes etc... but this should hopefully be a 'catch-all' for any type of masking you need to do...

I assume you mean moving position in the layers panel. (Z axis).... in all honesty, I don't know.

Sometimes it's better to discuss exactly what your end goal is, what you're trying to achieve. - since there may be a different way to work.

No grouping means "physically" moving the layer into a group which changes its position in the stack. And linking layers only relates to transforms (e.g. translation, rotation, scale); not layer visibility.

The CSS is probably being applied to the parent and the children are inheriting the style. They must allow you to edit CSS in there somewhere.
