#Multiplayer delay is too much

I’m using a Windows computer to play the Xbox version of the game, but the delay is too high in multiplayer and it’s barely playable because of how unresponsive the controls are. If it’s because of the geographical distance between me and the host, is there any way I can filter out which region I prefer?

Been so long without anyone replying and this has become my old computer

#

Now the issue still persists on my new one. Is the support them still available?

Hey! Can I ask what region you’re in? And does this happen in every game or just some games?

If you are in a lobby with someone from a far region, it will lag bad

#

I assume its just something we have to wait for HFF2 for a solution.

If P2P connection is the case, better have a region filtering system

Hm it may be possible that you are connecting to games outside of your region?

Do you have a friend in the same region that has the game? if so, can you try and play together with the friend hosting, and see if the problem persists?

I did try it with another computer on the same network using global game room (not via local connection) and it still occurs, just at a slightly lower latency but still unplayable

#

I’ve had the game for 3 years but haven’t been able to play it much because this is basically unplayable with that latency

Check if you have the Xbox Companion App installed on your PC, open it and then go to the Settings > Network and screenshot the information it displays in the Network settings.

That app is an ancient relic and is old. It’s removed from Microsoft store and windows 11

Check in the normal Xbox App then if you have the Network category available in the settings.

It happens on multiple devices, including a Windows 11 laptop, a Windows 10 laptop, a Windows 10 PC, an Intel MacBook running Windows 10 in bootcamp, an M4 Mac mini running Windows 11 in VMware Fusion 😭

#

I’m very sure it’s updated

I never said anything about update or so?
Please check in the normal Xbox App then if you have the Network category available in the settings.
