i'd say this is a good idea
ive encountered a few chefs who asked how to track how much time they spend in-game and this would be helpful for them, although it could be troublesome to do the past shifts but the total hours seems fine
why would it be troublesome to view past shifts?
it would basically just be a log of every shift and showing the duration
is it like a log of recruitment shifts or specifically times where you joined the game and shifted normally
a log of every time you set a timer. the timer is designed to organize shifts and let you know when your shift is done.
so if i set a timer for an hour and i don’t cancel it, it’ll count as a shift.
leaving the game could make the timer pause until you either resume it or cancel it
a recruitment shift wouldn’t automatically log as as a shift, you’d still need to set a timer to keep it logged.
This is a good idea but if the chefs who r overworking themselves share it around it will create a competitive environment i believe
To check how many minutes or hours you spent in games, you can check the roblox settings i forgot where exactly hut it can show your activity weekly
I agree with this
However, I believe that the idea of having chefs be able to set a timer (with no keeping track of past timers) is a good idea, and would help keep people non afk as well.
Yes the track is good
why shouldn’t you be able to view your past timers? (shifts)
I mean by that ppl would be sharing it and start a competition and unhealthy shifting time
this could be avoided by simply putting a limit to how long you can set a timer. perhaps 3-4 hours? so instead of everyone saying “my longest shift was 6 hours” or “my longest shift was 8 hours!!!!” the highest could simply be 3, or 4, and nobody could exceed that. this would probably help the idea that chefs would try to get the “highest” shift time.
if you’re talking about people comparing total hours shifted, that seems unrealistic because there’s new chefs joining Kohau everyday, they’re not gonna see someone with 200 hours shifted and think “i need to get over their 200 hours immediately” that just doesn’t seem realistic to me
They can still share different shifts in the same day, its unhealthy and unnecessary
Its a good idea but might start a competition
i do think that in this scenario, time management and motivation outweighs the “con” that people will start competition
Huge amount of chefs keeps asking abt the minimum of shifting time, if they see others doing 8 hours a day and its recorded then..😭
other than that its a good idea
okay think of it this way. this clock/timer app is implemented as a TOOL to help you manage time better. if people want to overwork, obviously that means that they still can’t stop overworking, even when they have a tool. that’s not a problem with the app, that’s something they need to manage on their own
people misuse features in Kohaú all the time, doesn’t mean that those features should not exist entirely
They will be screenshotting the minutes after finishing the shift and sharing it around, others will see it and feel they are not doing enough “i have seen similar stuff to the activity board” and will overwork themseand eventually leave kohau bc they burnt out
Thats what i mean
Also you can see how many minutes or hours u played any roblox game from the roblox settings
i doubt anybody’s gonna take a screenshot of a timer with a limit and post it in #hangout
yea its a possible scenario we all know it will happen according to the recent questions i have seen
what could prevent that possible scenario?
Not adding such a feature
But its a good idea tho
Or making rules nkt to share it around?
but that will be…
or having a dedicated discord moderator team that actually likes their job and is willing to enforce the idea of not being overly competitive within their OWN community
Honestly i stated my opinion already, it didn’t change, feel free to discuss abt it with others, have a njce day :))
kohau just promotes anybody that speaks english atp 😭
i miss when promotions actually meant something about a person
🌝
ur logic is SO weird
@outer berry
What do you mean by that, we talked about a feature.. how is that related to the promotion system? I stated my opinion already, i respect urs i am also expecting u to do the same!!
have a nice day…!
forget it
you can’t elaborate on your claim that affects MY reputation
that’s just anti-social
