#Update HA promotion guide

Two years is absolutely mental, i can assume how you feel.. have u asked if ur blacklisted maybe?
Yes, havent gotten a response yet. But even if I wouldnt really mind, i enjoy being a chef!
I agree i mean the main point of the game is to be a chef, but more than 90 percent of people who play is trying for ha
Agreed with Mariuskeck. It's different for everyone. It can take a few weeks, months, or maybe even a year. Even if it feels like you're doing everything right, you don't know that entirely and sadly, you can't really ask what you are doing wrong.
If you have genuine complaints, I think you should take it to a member of the Recruitment department and they'll give you the best answer they can.
Yeah i mean i have asked many time, staffing, recruitment, but not really much help. Ive given up, i just want other newer chefs to know what they unfortunately might have to go through
May I ask where you see it says "3-4+ weeks"?
In the games new chef info app and then the second button for hibachi assistant
Near the bottom i believe
hai so my friend got promoted after like a month, have u like went inactive for a while between
Not particularly, i’d say i was pretty active
This is a more accurate guide to follow. Also, I just want to warn you that some bits of your suggestion may seem like hinting.
https://devforum.roblox.com/t/kohaú-hibachi-assistant-promotion-guide/3270949
but I will upvote this because it's definitely true that it shouldn't just say 3-4 weeks
yeah tried following that too, and about the hinting part, ive given up so i dont care if its hinting
im tired of this too I've been in kohau 3months not six months like you but the past two weeks I've been playing at least 6h to just get noticed, but still didn't tried behind rejister and npc takeout still nothing
By the way if you noticed they really focus on people who have been an ha before who are already an mr or hr in other groups — call me a stalker but yes I had to do my research.
It's probably hard for normal people to get noticed
i did notice that
tbh i think kohau has changed a bit over time
it's quite unfair
bc last year, we had less players than this year
so ofc now it can take a bit longer bc there’s more chefs
and it’s hard to notice everyone
kohau is probably the most restaurant game in roblox rn
except its not just a bit longer its a lot
that too
today someone got promoted and they had a 223 day or something streak or ig there's hope for other ppl idk
anyway I'll reacted a tick for the suggestion cuz it needs to be updated
yes i am a witness
i got promoted last summer
if they're focusing on former MRs and people with Mr role in other games then at least normal chefs shouldn't keep their hopes up for 3/4 weeks
and i got it like a little over a month
no trust me ive seen a lot of new people that are being promoted to ha who are not former
i wasn’t a former and had no experience last summer but got promoted in around a month
I wouldn't assume they are doing that, mainly because of this screenshot, but feel free to DM a recruitment member if you have concerns
how did u guys get around a month
yes i agree, it is definitely, but then again theres only like 7 recruitment GMs which seems a bit low
when i got promoted i was super active
i spent 3-4 hours on kohau every day
and went to shifts everyday
they are actually it's probably because they trust them more which I understand ig but I think new people need a chance too
If you have concerns, you can DM someone like I said
but then it usually counts as overworking which is a bad thing too
i also went to shifts everyday! i wasn’t as actively online as allison but i consistently engaged with the community + tried to make my service very unique
ohh did just like stand in lanes? Or what did you do while playing?
im spending almost 6h a day never did
this was last summer💔
where less people were trying
and recruitment could like
analyze u more
True
I go to shifts like once a week but in general go at your own pace because the burnout is not worth it
Idk how getting to recruitment works but it’s most likely earned from hard work
sometimes even hard work goes unnoticed
Honestly, it's a lot harder now mainly because Kohau has updated a lot this summer and many people are trying for HA.
Even if you feel like your hard work is going unnoticed, you don't even know that. It may feel like that, but at the end of the day, you really don't know.
Plus, Julia said they're trying to deviate away from the game mainly being to get MR, which also takes part of it being harder this year.
I recommend asking some of fhe BOE of the servers!
Julia did mention a statement on how she wants people to play for fun not for admin which is why chances as so low
I like how this became a discussion about getting HA and just totally ignored the fact it's a suggestion to change the chef info thing 💔
Anyway upvote this suggestion
ikr 😭
but yes please upvote and thank u all for the support
If you ever decide to try for HA again, feel free to use #1390171920023945357 for tips
will do but low chancws since kt will be harder and harder, but yeah!!
@surreal holly
@placid bluff
if it's taking you 6 months, you probably dont meet the requirements
or not being consistent enough, not attending shifts, not be professional, not using grammar, etc
i got HA in less than a month and im not a former nor was an MR in any other groups (at that time) and a huge amount of people who get promoted arent either!
there’s a lot of recruitment members, and you also dont know if you’ve been noticed or not, additionally, any SV+ can recommend you so your work never goes unnoticed! (this is in the promotion guide mentioned above)
compared to even like 6 months ago, there is a huge amount of HA’s, almost double what there was. the executive team has grown significantly and there are consistent promotions but a lot of chefs are playing just for fun! the “chances” aren’t low as it completely depends on the person!
oh I definitely met the requirements
This
They look for consistency, not activity. I was told as a chef that they prefer people who play a decent amount of time since you’ll be drained out as an HA quickly. Not only that but some chefs don’t use grammar, and it’s really important no matter what situation. Even when talking to your friends. Ex: “LOL.”
This too
THIS.
I recommend attending shifts everyday and spending less hours on the game since you don’t want to loose motivation playing. Shifts are extremely important if you want to get noticed, they’re a chance to get noticed fast!
It also might be because of your performance as a chef too. I recommend being talkative to the person you are serving and sharing interests with them for a conversation starter. It really does help since it can allow you to make new friends and in many other ways.
i got promoted after 30 days, and all i did was study and review the ways on how to be promoted. when becoming a HA, its becoming a leader. they want you to go above and beyond in your role, and they also want to see the minimal and extreme you can go to. what i mean is that, sometimes, having 8 hours of activity is a lot, but it isnt what they are looking for. they are looking for someone who has good, consistent activity. personally, i would do 1h 30min - 2h every day, keeping it consistent. they also say in the handbook that when you join a couple of shifts, your noticed - and its true. so, attend every shift you can. im not going to explain everything in true detail, but here is my personal tips on how to get HA and what i did
- play 1h 30min to 2h every day to be consistent
- keep your greetings fun and themed but simple to read for our younger age audience can understand
- be productive when shifting. dont be AFK while in lanes, and dont just stand around. if you feel bored, its good to go to the kitchen to clean some dishes and serve some NPCs to keep yourself awake/busy.
- dont hint, or endorse other promotions. you never know, it could rub off the wrong way
- attend every shift you can. i like to plan the shifts im going to so my activity doesnt go overboard
- make friends and be talkative! you need to have connections and be sure you are social to show recruitment you can speak to people, showing you can help and be active
- be active in the discord! its good to also meet people there
- dont handle executives jobs. you are a chef, so they want to see you excel as a chef so that they know you can excel as an executive.
- follow the 2 guides on how to become HA: the one in the handbook, and owens guide. once you have read it, re-read it so its burned in your brain so you can remember what to do at all times and not slip up
- always use grammar and always be professional. be thing for HA
I definitely agree with what Justin said, those tips helped me aswell
wait im just curious did u just stand in the lanes while playing or like serve npcs or stuff cuz i dont think MRs really look at the kitchen
wdym? MR can see what ur doing with a comman
yea but like the MR has to know that you're in the server
also if you stand behind someone in a lane does it count as being afk?
they have ways
