#New Chef system

Hey! So I love the update and re-vamp but.... Sadly we do not need anymore junior chefs that beg/ask for tips or refused to serve so my suggestion is to close the kohau application to become chef each month, and then the next month it always opens on the first,

This will just help people to enjoy the game and to equalize the customers + chefs!

Julia says she will not close the applications because she wants everyone to be a chef as it is part of the gameplay.
(My wording my be a little wrong here)

# subtle flume I see it as a daily thing even when reporting chefs, not to mention TROLLERS/Che...

We cant moderate every troller. Trollers are apart of this type of game which means you’re going to encounter them whether that be them as a customer or a chef. so to answer your question, it’s not “fair” or “unfair”, it’s just how this type of game operates. We do our best to make sure trollers aren’t severely disrupting others but at the end of the day they’re still going to be around, regardless of if this gets implemented or not.

And to add a little to your suggestion, Its dumb to close applications for a month and for it to be only opened at the first. Other people cant always make a mark on the 1st day. They have different schedules. Its either theyre busy on that day or unavailable. Open applications gonna stay and u cant do anything about it. And no one will be happy about ur suggestion. If they wanna be a chef let them be. The world doesnt revolve around u. Please acknowledge other peoples availability

Im pretty sure chefs are acknowledged by the trollers and the warning thing.

#

Others might arent but there are chefs who takes their job seriously and provides happiness in the restaurant

MRs can ban them duh

The player report and in-game warning system exists for a reason, if we are talking about chefs who break the rules. As a Divine Chef, the easiest thing to do is remind them what the rule is that they're breaking, and if they continue, you can report them. This is how Kohaú has always worked.

Being a chef is the funnest part of the game, hence what Arjun_84 said about why Julia won't consider closing applications and what Julian said about the player count lowering. It's something she has expressed in the (recent) past that she doesn't want. I understand the frustration that comes from new chefs, but they learn things over time and have to be taught by others. hamsterChi_heart

I think the main point here is that being able to be a chef is one of the main points of gameplay. not everyone wants to be a chef to become HA or to play all the time, so it would be unfair to not keep the same opportunities for everyone.
As well as what everyone else mentioned, we have plenty of executives who can handle trollers and other issues.

Respect is earned. People don't automatically respect me because I'm a Divine Chef either and that's fine with me. If they're being disrespectful, as I mentioned, you can use the report system!

idk where you get this idea that just because someone’s a junior they shouldn’t be defended. you’re acting as if all of them are just disruptive, disrespectful and unprofessional when in reality a lot of them are nice people.

and another thing is when a junior does warn someone.. they try and act all tough trying to handle them.. and not calling a mod

I'll also add on that a lot is clarified in the training center, but messages go by fast and the trainees cannot capture or remember every piece of info they were given. Learning is part of a new job process and they have to be taught what is allowed and what isn't. Please try to be more understanding towards newer chefs.

It's not going to change even if applications closed for a short while. New chefs have to learn as they play. That's how the game works. Even if it is annoying to see them do something an experienced chef wouldn't, all you have to do is kindly correct them and then be on your way. It would help a lot if you don't want to see as many JHCs do something like that.

also just to clarify, just because you’re an exec or some higher rank doesn’t make you any better then a junior hibachi chef or even a customer. everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity no matter their rank.

Not all JHS begs for tips, on ur statement jhs beg for tips but not all of them do. Ur suggestion is so dumb and immature to say since u have been through the stage of being a jhs. JUST LIKE WHAT OTHERS STATED, learning is a part of working in kohau.

#

JHS taught almost all of us on how to be proffesional at Kohàu.

what? no?!

not all JHC are beggars or dont serve, they are LEARNING

this is a terrible idea ngl

I see why others don't like this post. But maybe don't be too rude about it. It is a bad idea, and Julia herself said something along the lines of this: "The game experience is mainly for the chefs, so we won't limit the amount of them."

Ok bro atp your getting on my nerves, arguing your way out of this isn't help you at all. First of all, these chefs ARE NEW. NEWW. Meaning that they are ajusting to the rules and also adjusting to being a chef in general. Also why are you acting like you wern't ever new? You were literally a JHC once and getting used to the resturant. If you were a trainee how would YOU feel if they closed the application centre and training centre each month just lowering your chances of becoming a chef? Also lot's of people who are JHC dont act like that and even if some do, they are just getting used to the environment around them, im not excusing this behaviour but they are LEARNING like 'bestkohauworkerever' said. Also not trying to be rude but being 19 and this immature is ridiculous. You can't just help JHC learn? I honestly love helping them out and letting them adjust to the resturant. Why can't you do the same? It's also kinda stressful being surrounded by higher ranks. Not that it should be overwhelming, but SHC like you they are probably scared of. You are being completely disrespectful and very rude to new chefs who are learning, if you can't handle that then mind your own business and stop paying attention to them.

onyx gust
#

okay so we all don’t need to be rude here but i do disagree, you can’t just say all new chefs are trollers. that’s unfair to them, executives make sure any troller do get demoted. so there is no point shutting down the whole chef system for ONE beggar, everyone is learning. and if you were still a jhc i think you would agree this is completely unfair

Listen, to clear things up, Closing the application center is a HORRIBLE idea. Heres why, it'll effect the player who genuinely who wants to work here but itll be closed because of this suggestion and it'll greatly effect the player, and another fact is the devs want more chefs and closing the application center will lead to worse outcomes. and JHC being stereotyped as a beggar is wrong, and chefs that have a higher rank doesn't mean they have a high level of respect, all chefs deserve equal respect to a high ranking chef, and considering that your a godly chef it should be obvious that this is completely unfair and you being not open minded with this suggestion is making you look immature. This isnt hate btw this is to find all the flaws with this suggestion.

# pine sage Listen, to clear things up, Closing the application center is a HORRIBLE idea. ...

I'm aware I forgot to edit the chef system thing.. I mean tbh they shouldn't close it but.. in the training center the trainers should try and teach the trainers and tell them to not beg other customers/workers for tips/robux/sushi since like if you put things in the other works pov they have worked hard for theyre sushi, and they don't even see it as fair if a jhc is just getting all the sushi just because they asked for it

subtle flume

# subtle flume Also bestkohauworker was demoted,

Even if they did get demoted, they spoke the truth. Instead of making a suggestion about completely removing the application centre, you should have made one discussing the problem and finding solutions for it. Not just straight up lowering the chances of becoming a chef?

hey, so you cannot assume that all jhcs are beggars.
its not like all jhcs after training should know every rule/everything. julia also said that she wants to everyone become a chef
its not like 1 beggar = everyone are beggars

why cant you try helping them out like @subtle flume ?

#

it's new for them, do you expect them to be great? do you think that with just a training (that has A LOT of info and a message every 5 seconds) they are completely ready?

#

it's like being in another school grade and needing help, that hasn't anything wrong

setting all the drama aside: i disagree, eventhough i understand your post. It is true that we’ve had a ton of jhc only become chefs to troll, thinking that they wont get consequences, but closing the application and training center wont really resolve this. Theres aton of executives who are able to deal with such chefs, as its our job. And as some people also said, closing the tc and ac will just result in us losing players and the game perhaps “shrinking“, as in losing possible long term players
