8 seasons —> 4 seasons —> 2 seasons —> 1 season and in chapter 6 will be some huge event that restarts the storyline from the beginning, I mean, it is called “the loop”

However if you think about within a non-lore perspective they are going to keep the chapters decently long at least for a year or so. This would be because it would be difficult for the players to have to memorize a new map every couple months. Also so far (IF THE CHAPTER ENDS NEXT SEASON) they haven't done a chapter shorter then 4 seasons which is pretty good length in my opinion. But shorter then 4-5 seasons would be bad because of the problem mentioned above.
