If you are using Savlor. You need to equip Saving grace skin.
Else , we will assume you don't have it and you'll be rewarded with that skin.
Same with MD and dragonskin..
If you equip Savlor with saving grace skin and finish, you can choose any skin of your liking.

I feel like I've wasted time, STRESS, energy, and all HOPE I had for participating in events on discord.

Note: this is my first challenge I was interested in SPECIFICALLY bc MD is my favorite to play. In seeing these veiled aspects of this challenge... why should I ever try another in the future unless it grants everyone worthwhile rewards or gurantees (me specifically) success or the highest reward?

Hey @ancient frost, I understand your frustration and I don’t think anyone is trying to invalidate how you feel about the challenge or your concerns regarding MD vs Salvor balance.

That being said, the event rules never stated that MD and Salvor would be separated into different categories or judged independently. The challenge was designed around healing performance overall, and Salvor being stronger at raw healing output was already something expected due to it being the newer support mech.

At the same time, MD users were still fully allowed to participate, compete for placements, and receive rewards if all requirements were met. The intention wasn’t to exclude MD players, but rather to allow both support mechs to participate under the same challenge conditions.

I also want to mention that moderators and event staff may not always be able to respond immediately, especially during large events with many submissions and questions happening simultaneously. Repeatedly pinging multiple moderators can create additional pressure and confusion for the team, even if that wasn’t your intention.

Your feedback about the balancing and structure of the event is still valid, though, and I’m sure it will be taken into consideration for future challenges.

Only the Top 5 receive extra rewards (+2 legendary skins and 500 A-Coins), but every player who submitted and had their submission validated will still receive a legendary skin as a reward.

We totally agree that the earlier situation felt a bit unfair. After further discussion adjustments were made to make it more fair.
The system allowed players to have weakened balanced hangers for example, a full rank 4 hanger with reasonably balanced equipment can still perform. The goal was to ensure that even lower SP players are properly considered and have a fair chance to participate.
As for the Top 5 receiving better rewards, that’s simply how the event is designed. Sometimes it works in your favor, sometimes it doesn’t, as this particular event was specifically made to reward the top healers.
