#Weekly Feedback: 3rd December- 9th December

A price reduction on mechs and weapons is much appreciated.
- Haven’t seen it on a player yet, it must be balanced or underperforming. That’s good, not every mech/weapon should attempt to change the meta.
- Gift was appreciated. Adjust the proportion of A Coins in more expensive deals to be more in line with the cheapest offer which has been fairly consistent at (near) 2:1 while more expensive deals are at 1:1.
- Cap pop up offers at three, having to close 7-10 offers every time you open the game is annoying, especially with the number of times games crash.
- Statistically and design are alright haven't tried them.
- Good idea but for the average player we don't have a coins to spend on what ifs and not certainty.
- Well I was expecting a lot more for free to play players though the sales were tempting but still needs to be more free to play friendly, this was the perfect time to do so.
5 The game needs to give players more ways or just straightup more acoins.
Hellfire Impressions: Still not seeing anyone using it. That pretty much tells me all I need to know about it.
Ember Gun 16 Crate Rush Event: Same song and dance, too expensive for such low chance at getting main item. make the crates only have 10 things instead of 30. I aint dropping 120-130 bucks for a weapon. I dont mind spending a bit here and there but 130? nah.
Black Friday Aftertaste: Free stuff was cool. Couple decent deals on weapons. Honestly should be what stuff is always priced at imo. better to make a little often then a lot infrequently.
New Content Feedback:
If we are being honest here, the new content has all been pretty lousy if you ask me.
Deathwalker is pretty much the only thing that I see anyone besides bots using.
I think the problem is Too high price and too low of creativity on part of creators. IDK maybe they are runnin out of ideas or enthusiasm.
Any Other Topic You'd Like to Highlight:
Revokers....still stupid Over powered
Maps & Tournaments: Can we see some different maps in the Tournaments other than the same rotation. I think any map would be fun for FFA CPC or deathmatch, and speaking of CPC why not have a CPC tournament as well?
And lastly I want to bring up a subject that is always talked about and still isnt getting fixed. Its the matchmaking system in this game. its totally whack. I mean why is it necessary to match so uneven adversaries? This game came out in August 2021. thats goin on 3 and a half years and yet still the matchmaking system is awful.
It is the reason for the decline in players. And it will continue to be. The only thing i can think of as to why after all this time its still so terrible is that is intentional. They constantly match us against players whom are way more powerful to "Entice" us to spend money on better gear and mechs. But in reality it has the opposite effect.
People realize quickly that they are chasing the dragon and will never surpass the enemy, and it makes people quit. There has been several times when the matchmaking was so terrible for so many rounds in a row I was contemplating quitting this game and charging back every purchase I made in this game. actually still thinking about it. Because if the only goal is to get us to spend money and never really reap the benefits then that to me is a product not as described. In the business world that's not acceptable.
- I was expecting hellfire to be a close combat weapon but a heavy duty weapon nice workkk
- ember gun 16 crate rush was really good , i recently unlocked it so i didnt get the crate rush but i got the bps crate rush which was appreciated
- free gifts are always appreciated no matter how small
- the new content addition is really exciting and keeps the game interesting
- i would just like to request reduction in prices of mechs , weapons are good but like to 8k a coins or maybe more and straight up ways to get acoins , also clan playoffs addition would be really appreciated
- Haven't experienced it myself, but it seemed fairly balanced when I watched others using it.
- Once again, only for pay-to-win players. The majority of the playerbase cannot buy the tokens, and when there are no events to obtain some tokens it just kind of sits there and looks pretty.
- I thought it was good. Great deals and a nice free gift in the store. However, putting 10 energy weapons up for sale wasn't the greatest in my opinion. Yes they are good weapons, but most people want 8, 12, or 16 energy variants for their mechs. 8 energy weapons come dualed, and maxed 12 and 16 energy weapons can be put on maxed mechs.
- We've been getting a lot of new mechs and weapons lately, and I really enjoy that. However, I feel that the bottom of the playerbase is being neglected. I'm fairly certain that the last time a mech or weapon came out that wasn't legendary was fuse mortars, and they still aren't available for in-game currency. I think new players would enjoy having the same amount of custimization for mechs and weapons that veterans do. What I mean by that is making more mechs and weapons that are common, uncommon, rare, and possibly epic grade.
- There have been many players recently who are looking for buffs or nerfs to various mechs and weapons(#buffBrickhouse). I would also like to see an update with some reworking done to various mechs and weapons, and dealing out some buffs and nerfs. Possibly even a bit of a grade update for some.
Here is another thought of mine. What if you updated the gear hub so that someone can only buy mechs or weapons in the shop that are no more than one tier above their current highest unlocked tier? This still allows people to buy things, but new players that are looking to spend money won't have access to the top-tier legendary mechs and weapons until they unlock more tiers. That will help with things like keeping a few more overpowered nomad builds out of the 1k - 4k squad power tournament matches.
Soon:tm:
It would be interesting if the boxes and packs only provided blueprints for the mechs and weapons that we use in our hangar, instead of blueprints for all the ones in the game. This would help us evolve the items of the type that we already have, and would motivate us to buy new mechs and weapons in the game, even if we don't have any blueprints for them.
Honestly, it doesn't make much sense to me to buy a weapon or mech on sale in the store, or even in the hub, if I won't be able to evolve that item later, unless I spend a fortune on A-coins, especially for those that need to reach 6 stars to complete the pair.
They could also create a way to recycle blueprints for mechs and weapons.
They could create a calendar of what will be released at the center, to be purchased with credits or A-coins. This way we could plan and gather the necessary amount of these resources.
I'm looking forward to knowing when they're going to release the revokers in the hub, although I think these weapons should be nerfed, as they cause absurd damage, at least in the hands of bots.
-
Hellfire: looks ok, but not refined enough for game dynamics.
-
I agree with most, tokens too expensive! Adding more "in game" purchases for crate rush. In game cash.
-
The free bee's were cool, the deals not so much! I've seen better deals any other time.
-
New content: waiting for the upcoming boards.
-
Game dynamics and game play: every update makes the game not run well. Going into a battle a player short? During game play the game will kick you out, and it takes you back to the beginning of the screen! Not the first time I've complained about this! And I know about these problems because my wife is also a player, and she sits right next to me and I can see the issues. Hackers are another problem! We already know that there are hackers in the game. You've already caught numerous ones, and banned them from the game. There are still more left to find. I saw a couple of them already because I've hit their butts and their energy doesn't go down, or you hit them with a system crash, and they're still firing their weapons?
I really think it's pointless to add ideas. Some people's idea's they should be contacted through discord. Ideas are not free. There are alot of people who love the game, they're spending a lot of their time and energy coming up with ideas that would work with the"current" game dynamics. Some are kids and others are not!
Thank you for your time👍😎
1: haven't seen one in the game till now however I think at my sp range how the burn damage is constant at every rank it's gonna kill my whole hangar once I get burn effect ,
2:Was too expensive for me to spin and also the chances were too low
3:nice free gift however would love if they would have given some promo codes for players.
4:New content is nice , kinda excited , however the design of every mech is some mix of existing mechs so you guys gotta do something new ,,,
5:one thing is the ad rewards in the store, some players get so high rewards as watching ads and some gets very nerfed rewards, also some don't even get ads, so would be better if you make this equal for every player because it can advantage one player too much in terms of resources and other would stay way behind .
- The game isn't FUN. The constant push to make sure the new mechs and weapons are highlighted in the game makes playing frustrating. Instead of having some form of Gating which would allow high end players the ability to play competitively against each other , while allowing newer/lower level players the Devs encourage Hanger Manipulation and Squad Power dropping because money is more important to them than a happy player base. The AI mechs constantly being fully upgraded with Max energy weapons, and meta builds pitted against non-meta players makes it clear that the Dev team don't want the players to enjoy their time. They just want them to spend money on the newest stuff.
The Mechs need an entire rebalance as you one of the few games that has the opposite of power creep going on. tier 9 mechs start very close in power to tier 1 mechs which allows for all the new mechs to be bought at a low rank and used to decimate the F2P player base (and this observation is coming from someone who SPENDS MONEY on the game) No player should be getting 177k points in an FFA Tournament, that's just blatantly exploitative game play. Players logging off in frustration should never be the Dev's goal, but it seems like it is. Janky AI that will push you to the win or hold you back on a whim needs to be sorted. This game has a lot of known problems but it seems like the Dev team just wants to squeeze as much money out of the playerbase as possible. Which is never endearing to the casual player who comes for a relaxing, fun experience. The Big Spenders will spend no matter what, but allowing them to run roughshod over the less powerful players is always how a game "Dies"
I feel we should bell have the option to be able to sell any blueprints we obtain from chests for both credits and acoins, this will definitely improve progression.
Maybe some type of marketplace to purchase blueprints from other players?
-
It's aesthetically awesome, but the ability doesn't scale. I understand why you would want a keyword condition to be the same at every level. How about having the duration scale instead?
-
Not personally interested.
-
The crate rush with all four stars was great. If I wasn't cranky about tanking (see #5), I would've bought a lot.
-
I'm bummed that deathfloater didn't have more time to shine before it was nerfed by outlaw.
-
I refuse to spend any more money on this game until you end tanking. There is absolutely no justification for allowing a seven star nomad to slaughter a bunch of three star mechs in FFA.
@carmine zealot 👍
Hellfire Impressions: Seen 1 person use it, wasn't very impressed and hadn't been burned by it yet.
Ember Gun 16 Crate Rush Event: This gun is already annoying enough to come up against as a 6 or 8 variant and then giving people a chance to get it at 16 in a crate? Hell nah
Black Friday Aftertaste: what aftertaste?
New Content Feedback: Nothing to say yet
Any Other Topic You'd Like to Highlight: I would like to highlight the problems I brought up in the bug reports channel about damage and other mechs being able to get through the Blockhorn Barricade while it's up and active. Seems to be happening more in tournaments and I have provided video proof of it happening and it's be be quite frank very much an issue that if it's not addressed I will stop participating in tournaments.
This right here is why I stopped playing my F2P accounts. Playing F2P is very frustrating and disheartening and even seeing people getting 10k + in any tourny make me want to vomit, like the last one when I seen 1 guy in each bracket rack up more than 100x what the next guy did using 1 mech with 1 weapon that is broken af alone to rack up 100k ffa points
I agree, I get a lot of blueprints for weapons I probably won't ever use or be able to get
- I always wanted Flamethrowers, and Hellfire's visuals are top notch, can't complain, but the way it performs makes it unnecessary, maybe after some buffs it will be useful but until then it's just a fancy weapon. It will make a considerable difference if perk dmg increases with rankups, and the range was longer.
- EG16 types of ecr works if it's a legendary weapon, cause if the weapon is epic then it will take triple the resources to get it, while with legendary it's somewhat good and the weapon is not available in gearhub.
- There gift was good, deals too, but there was nothing to mark it, like no task etc. It would be awesome if there's new type of fun tasks, and skins to mark this year's Xmas.
- Hell yeah new FFA maps, it's the best gift ever, same goes to Salvor really hope it's close to meta and really useful, love the design of Salvor, and the new chonky mech with maybe mortars. Weapons looks fun and amazing, hopefully some of them prove to be meta worthy, I personally want atleast one weapon from each category to be Meta, that will make endgame more fun and diverse.
- Well, first of all it's Mod parts, we haven't got any event for them after the derby, since they are important part of handar progression, it would be great if Battle Pass, Fortune Vault, ECRs, Tournament etc include mod parts as extra reward also.
There arent any tasks to get skins, it will be fun if there are some every now and then, and One event atleast in 6 months to get desired skin. Maybe make a Skin Market like implant market in game.
It's nice to see weapons getting available in gearhub, will be cool if mechs are too.
01.Hellfire Impressions
Concept and aestetic are awesome as seen in some videos, didnt fight any yet.
As all weapons, it is far too expensive
02.Ember Gun 16 Crate Rush Event
Combining valuable objects in a CRE is a way of selling things that may have less appeal
Ember Gun 16 was 3100, the CRE was 9000.
Many concentrated on Ember Gun and did not factor in 65000 implant parts and a few credits
I needed the implant parts, so I took it. It was expensive. I would not buy the Ember Gun 16 alone.
Maybe making next ones less expensive would help many not to discard it immediately
03.Black Friday Aftertaste
There were many offers at the end during the week, mainly on Thursday and Friday.
Standard shop offers were rather standard prices, amd Black Friday Pack also was - far too expensive.
Black Friday CRE was an interesting proposition - 10 objects, 4 legendary mechs and 1 epic mech, 5 energy 10 weapons,
everything rank4, same chances for each, 17.99 euros per ticket.
Combining valuable objects in a CRE is a way of selling things that may have less appeal than others.
Math is needed here.
If you needed everything, prices were definitely lower than standard ones BUT half of the objets you buy you will probably use
less - and you will still need to rank up.
Mixed feelings at the end.
The gift is always appreciated.
04.New Content Feedback
There is always something new, which is nice. Mechs, weapons and maps require a lot of work and are well done.
It would be nicer is challenges had more valuable prizes, i.e. getting a mech, or a weapon, or a pilot, or an implant.
Getting 7 tickets out of 30 so that you still need to buy 23 makes the challenge less interesting.
05.Any Other Topic You'd Like to Highlight
My free topic is: All weapons and mechs and implants are far too expensive, even more considering you need to combine them
Topics to be covered this week:
-
Hellfire Impressions: No comment, haven't seen 1 in battle yet and can't afford it
-
Ember Gun 16 Crate Rush Event: Just like all crate rushes, I get all free tickets but never win any of the top 5 prizes.
-
Black Friday Aftertaste
Any free resources are appreciated. -
New Content Feedback
No more skins, already way yo many and most are butt ugly and I'll never use them. -
Any Other Topic You'd Like to Highlight
-- Matchmaking still sucks and gets tiring facing having my hangar that around 5K power facing Legendary mecks maxed out *or almost maxed out and being 1 shot....
-- when you get random reward for XP level, it never shows you what you got. It should display popup or send mail message to player.
-- I hate winning skins that I will never use.
-
Would really like to try Hellfire is got a chance to but for now as no one is using it so cant really tell how it is.
-
For ECR getting token from specialized events is good but buying from store is too expensive, maybe can reduce the prices or increase the amount of tokens we get from it.
-
Great deals and free crates too which was really good
-
Always up for new content as it keeps the players on their toes and excited
-
My personal feedback will be about:
a. Revokers being too overpowered
b. Prices for mechs and weapons are high in store
c. Need more ways to get A coins
d. Ways of getting ECR token should be increased
- Graphics and Design: The visuals continue to impress, with detailed mech designs and vibrant arenas. The new map introduced this week is visually stunning and adds a fresh challenge.
- Performance: The game ran smoothly with minimal lag or crashes, even during peak hours. This stability greatly enhances the gaming experience.
- Community and Events: The community events and challenges were well-organized and provided a good mix of rewards. The communication from the developers regarding updates and events was clear and timely.
Areas for Improvement:
- Matchmaking: While generally good, there were a few instances where matchmaking seemed unbalanced, leading to one-sided matches. Tweaking the matchmaking algorithm could help create more evenly matched games.
- In-Game Economy: The cost of upgrading mechs and weapons feels a bit steep. Adjusting the in-game economy to make upgrades more accessible would be appreciated.
- Bug Fixes: I encountered a few minor bugs, such as occasional glitches with the targeting system. Addressing these issues would improve the overall gameplay experience.
Suggestions:
- New Content: Introducing more diverse game modes and maps would keep the gameplay fresh and exciting.
- Customization Options: Expanding the customization options for mechs and pilots would allow for more personalized gameplay.
- Community Engagement: Increasing interaction with the player community through Q&A sessions or feedback forums could help address player concerns more effectively.
Just learned there is no way to shut down the seeker warp ability. I'm told they always go back to original location after ability timer. Why doesn't system crash or any stun ability stop this and put it on cool down? They already get a 30% attack boost and are difficult to counter
- This Chaos Reigns playoff event is broken - again you have made the mistake of using a DAMAGE based point system that majorly favors whales / endgamers that do 2million+ damage every round.
4 days in and people have 1 million points... 15k+ hangars, 70k plus inventory all at the top.
Absolutely no way to compete.
I agree, but at the same time part of the reason they have so many points is from an exploit that uses a bug with the multi-layer mods
