Hello sharks, me again.
I come with an ask of adding more diversity to the Minecraft Events, after taking part in all of them now. While they are fun, if that is all that will be done over the coming months, with the same three events just differently spread out every time, they will get old fast SO how about some .. more event ideas!
I propose doing something like Horse Racing (or tbf any ride-able mob, because we could also do the pteranodon thingy races for a different route cuz flying and stuff, or even boat racing) or Building competitions, with the first being a more one-and-done kind of event (like the ones we currently have) and the second one allowing it to be a more prolonged event!
On the Building Comps:
Basically what I am suggesting is kind of like the BoB picture contests but in Minecraft. We get a theme and a frame of time, like a week or two, and a set space to make a build that then goes up for a vote with either just the admins or the community. If making a space for it would be problematic, a solution to this would be to allow making builds in creative on the same mod pack (to ensure the same blocks) just on a singleplayer world, and then submitting them via Discord.
Pros: More variability in the events for Minecraft than just two types of hide and seek and parkour, including one for those who are unable to make the times for the current ones.
Cons: Potentially more work included for the admins when setting up another event area if the Horse (and all) Race is approved HOWEVER I am certain that the community could also get involved in helping.
