Suggestion: Sometimes its hard to know if someone claimed a area as there territory, i remeber seeing an argument in chat about a player who claimed a poi and another saying they didnt know and figured this could prevent that from happening.

Explanation: Basicly a simple form type thread like suggestions or profiles could be used where players could then create a post like for exsample "Marrow claims Gp" or "Glowstick and her nycta pack claim Upper gv" then players who wish to avoid terrotorys or go there looking for a fight would have the option to. Heck players could even use it to figure out where another dino of there kind is so they could track them down as a potential partner. If the dino with the territory dies and is a perma death dino(aka player see its story is now over and deletes it) they could then ither delete the form with the clame or edit it to say something like "Marrow has fought hard but fallen to a Rex, freeing gp from her control" or something like "Metra's evil has been vanquished and Hot springs is now free to be reclaimed".

Pros: Stops confusion if someone wants to claim a poi but doesn't know its already claimed, Allows clearer idea of whos protecting where, Allows players the potital chance to find a mate, Stop people from saying that the area isn't the other players dinos terratory.

Cons: Another discord form when they are apparently limited, Could make it harder to monter.

ehh, i could see this stepping on the “no locations” rule and sorta push the realism into the fight club state the semi realism was in

i know the lfaw realism is … hardly a realism—but just to put it out there, smt like this also reduces natural / realistic encounters in game

i feel like it would be better to have a dedicated "territory rules" section in the rules that goes over stuff like what the process for claiming a poi is supposed to be and how youre supposed to warn/escort people out of it. something like, "you can claim a territory after existing in it for a few minutes without being aggressed out of it by someone already there; theres a specific order of calls to be used at somebody to let them know you want them out of your territory (something like a broadcast followed by a threaten, or vice versa); you can threaten back if you want to try to fight for the territory; you can surrender (even after trying to fight for the territory and losing) and the territory owner can escort you out by walking behind you until youve left the territory"

Eather way we need some way to claim Terratory that others can reconise

It would probably be easier if admins explained how to claim a territory better (idk if it's explained or not)

Like I said we mostly just need some kind of way to know what can be used as territoryal behaviours. The only mention I think of that is on contesting of the "challenging rex for terratory" in global chat

Plus someone could be attacked by another Dino and think it's a hunt and fight to the death when in reality they could of ! Called and left at any time

THAT has happened to me in a relisun server and had I known k could of left I would of but I thought I was being hunted and as it was a char vs Tyrano I knew I couldn't run away so thought I had no other option but to fight to the death. Rip Murderbasket

And you can normally ask if it's a hunt or terratory in global before your attacked. Not only that not everyone watches global

most people use a broadcast / threaten call together to show territorial aggression. some ppl go the extra mile and posture or display too

Not everyone looks at local or global though? Maybe there could be a kind of section people could go for territorial behaviours, like patroling the area, 3 calling or "threat displaying" if something unwanted enters the area. Just some way to know if your getting attacked because Terratory or huhted

The only issue I see with local is that most people ignore local as it’s mostly used for the bot commands-

Plus that’s part of realism! It’s up to you to portray that. Someone just being territorial ain’t gonna go for a kill. Just aiming to chase you off, only killing if it’s a last resort

I mean, if one of the fighters thinks there being hunted and knows they can't exscape there going to fight to the death to try and survive not knowing that they could just leave the area

I have noticed people hunting don't tend to realise atm, that they can leave and not die and have to regrow. Exspeshally with herbies. Should probs make a suggestion that unless desperate for food at a certain HP people have to back off and count the hunt as a fail/can't rejoin when HP is healed...I have a lot I need to suggest but urg, dealing with argumentive threads is bad for my current mental state -.- I don't Wana go back to where I was a few mouths back....
