F3 S12 - Round 2 - Mystery GP - Great Britain 🇬🇧

Incident 1
Wrightson vs Matusiak

Explanation: Matusiak breaks too late going into turn 16, causing to make contact with Wrightson. For the incident at turn 17, Wrightson is considered not to be sufficiently alongside enough. Despite this, the move is considered a push to pass and will be penalised.
Verdict - 5s + 2LP to Matusiak

Incident 2
Wrightson vs Phillips

Explanation: As Phillips is entering the pit-lane, he does not cross the white lines, therefore no penalty can be awarded.
Verdict - NFA

Incident 3
Wrightson vs Phillips

Explanation: On the exit of the pit-lane, Phillips had wheel spin, resulting in him going off track. The game awarded him a 3s time penalty for crossing the pit exit white lines, which we deem valid. As the game had already awarded him an agreement time penalty, we will only give licence points as a penalty.
Verdict - 1LP to Phillips

Incident 4
Tulppo vs Kinable

Explanation: Into turn 6, Kinable misjudged his braking point massively (trying to make a move on Olami) and crashes into Tulppo in the process. Because of how far back he seems to be, we award a larger penalty than usual (no POV also doesn’t help).
Verdict - 5s + 3LP + FW to Kinable

Incident 5
Uyar vs Szafraniak

Explanation: Going around turn 15, Szafraniak leaves a small amount of room for Uyar on the inside, resulting in Uyar making contact with the merc and spinning. From both POV’s, it is believed that Szafraniak left enough racing room for Uyar, but the incident occurred due to the racing line taken. Uyar is awarded a penalty due to using Reset to Track (following F9.1 in the ERO Regulations)
Verdict - Warning to Szafraniak, 3LP to Uyar

Incident 6
Olami vs Szafraniak

Explanation: Going around turn 11, both drivers are side by side (Olami can be considered alongside). Szafraniak leaves room on the inside for Olami, but not enough, leading to the incident. The stewards say that not enough racing room was left for Olami, therefore resulting in a small penalty (as we don’t feel a harsh penalty can be awarded for an incident in this part of the track).
Verdict - 3s + 1LP to Szafraniak

Incident 7
Olami vs Medeiros

Explanation: With Olami taking a defensive line, we feel like the line he took wasn’t the greatest. The incident has been mainly caused due to Medeiros steering so close to Olami, and not going right just after turn 15 has been completed. Due to the nature of the incident and how it has happened, Medeiros is awarded a penalty.
Verdict - 5s + 2LP to Medeiros

F3 S12 - Round 3 - Canadian GP 🇨🇦

Incident 1
Myllys vs Olami

Explanation: Under VSC, Myllys is planning on turning for turn 13 when he gets practically straight-lined by Olami. No matter the driver, everyone should not be going full speed under VSC and/ or SC, as things like this can happen. As this was a major incident, a heavy penalty will be applied.
Verdict - 10s + 3LP to Olami - Due to DNF, 10s converts to extra 3LP = 6LP to Olami

Incident 2
Matthews vs ???

Explanation: Despite clear pings and alerts given to Matthews, the correct reporting format was not followed. Due to this, no further investigation will be held with this incident.
Verdict - No Investigation

Incident 3
Maltby vs Uyar & Magnusson (& Imtiaz) + Game

Explanation: With Maltby looking to remove warnings from the incident at turn 6, a race director must be provided. As this was not provided, no warning and penalties can be removed. However, we can look at the incidents within the clip and make verdicts upon these.
**A - **The incident at turn 6 is put on Uyar. The Aston Martin seems to make a late move under braking to defend from Magnusson, which leads to them making contact and resulting in Magnusson and Maltby making contact.
**B - **The incident at turn 8 is also being put on as Uyar’s fault. Going into the corner, Uyar moves back onto the racing line despite Imtiaz still being alongside (red arrows can be seen). Racing room should be left, but there was none for Imtiaz. This could have been avoided with one of three drivers backing out. Imtiaz receives a warning for attempting to force himself into a gap which basically does not exist.
Verdict:
A - 5s + 2LP to Uyar - Due to DNF, 5s converts to extra 2LP = 4LP to Uyar
B - 10s + 3LP to Uyar - Due to DNF, 10s converts to extra 3LP = 6LP to Uyar
Additional: Warning to Imtiaz, FW to Magnusson

Matthews vs Game

Explanation: Like Incident 2, the correct format has not been used. Therefore no further investigation will be held.
Verdict - No Investigation

Incident 5
Maltby vs Matthews

Explanation: The purpose of this report was for Maltby to try and have warnings and penalties removed from his end result. As no race director has been provided, there will be no removal of warnings. However, with this incident, it’s clear to see that Matthews has had no intention of leaving racing room. Maltby can’t be considered alongside enough for this to result in an actual penalty, so a simple warning will be handed to Matthews.

Round 3 Appeal

Incident 3 - Ozan Uyar Appeal

**Original Decision: 4LP + 6LP to Uyar

New Decision: 4LP + 6LP to Uyar**

Explanation: With stewards having looked at this, it’s been pretty clear there has been no new evidence or footage provided, so this fully can’t be looked at. Despite the same pov, opinions were gained in which they wanted to penalise Uyar more. However, we have ended up just keeping the same decision.

Extra Note (mainly to Uyar): The stewarding decisions were made due to the erratic driving by all those involved in the incident, and heavier penalties were applied due to this (not because of another drivers retirement in the pits later in the race)

F3 S12 - Round 4 - Hungarian GP 🇭🇺

Incident 1
Lyubenov vs Imtiaz

Explanation: Going around Turn 4, Imtiaz attempts to leave as much racing room as he possibly can on the inside for Lyubenov. Unfortunately, Lyubenov clips the inside kerb, which then unbalances his car and goes into Imtiaz. The stewards believe that neither driver can be penalised for this, as this corner is difficult to go side by side in, and the drivers nearly executed this perfectly.
Verdict - NFA

Incident 2
Maltby vs Uyar

Explanation: Despite some movement under braking from Uyar into Turn 6, this isn’t enough to be penalised, as there is no drastic movements. Maltby clearly brakes too late and damages his front wing from his own mistake. A warning is given just as a precaution to be careful under braking and watch the drivers ahead.
Verdict - Warning to Maltby

Incident 3
Maltby vs Uyar

Explanation: Comparing this to Incident 2 (another moving under braking report), this movement is much more drastic by Uyar, in which he will receive a penalty for this.
Verdict - 5s + 2LP to Uyar

Incident 4
Teodor vs Medeiros

Explanation: Medeiros is rejoining the track between turn 4 and 5. Teodor is driving past and Medeiros is very close to the racing line while being sideways. However, as Teodor was the last driver before Medeiros could fully rejoin the track, the stewards believe that this was somewhat dangerous. No large penalty will be given out, but a simple warning for a dangerous rejoin, and to be cautious the next time this occurs.
Verdict - Warning to Medeiros

Incident 5
Kinable & Lyons vs Ter Hart

Explanation: At the start of the race, Mats is attempting to move out of the slipstream of Szafraniak ahead (most likely to divebomb). However, Lyons and Kinable and alongside, which causes body damage to Lyons and affects both drivers races. A medium sized penalty is handed out, as this incident could have been much worse (DNF’s).
Verdict - 5s + 1LP + FW to Ter Hart - Due to DNF, 5s converts to 1LP = 2LP + F2 to Ter Hart

Incident 6
Ventresca vs Matusiak

Explanation: Going around turn 2, Matusiak has taken a very tight line, and not leaving much room for Ventresca. Despite some minimal room for Ventresca to still use, the stewards believe this is not enough considering the space Matusiak has to his right which he can take. A penalty is given out for dangerous driving.
Verdict - 5s + 1LP to Matusiak

Medeiros vs Magnusson

Explanation: This incident would be looked at, but Magnusson has left ERO since this report was sent out. Because of this, there is no need to look at this incident.

Szafraniak vs Olami

Explanation: Olami steers into Szafraniak his front wing causing him damage (and a scare of his life).
Verdict - 5s + 2LP to Olami

Maltby vs Lyubenov

Explanation: Maltby gets spun around in T1 by Lyubenov.
Verdict 5s+ 3LP to Lyubenov
( Due to Lyubenov retiring 5s > 2LP total of 5LP )

Beard vs Ventresca

Explanation: Ventresca could have left a tiny bit more space. but due to Beard touching the wall and going across the track.

F3 S12 - Round 6 - COTA 🇺🇸

Incident 1: Ventresca TL removal
Explanation: Vince is driving pretty slow through S1 and getting a TL warning under Safety Car. Due to unawareness we cant remove a Track Limit Warning.
Verdict - NFA

Incident 2: Maltby vs Teodor

Explanation: Teodor did a George Russel in T1 and spun Sainz (Maltby) round.
Verdict- 5s 2LP to Teodor

Incident 3: Uyar vs Kinable pt.1

Explanation: Kinable goes for a safe restart as 8th and is within 0.5 sec gap to the car ahead. Therefore he just takes it cautious while Uyar was going full throttle into the last corner.
Verdict - NFA Racing incident but 1LP to Kinable for no POV

Incident 4: Uyar vs Kinable pt.2

Explanation: Uyar sends for a move on Kinable but doesnt leave Kinable any space and forced him off track. Corner after Kinable sends it back on Uyar and hit his front wing with his body. Therefore i can only say they were racing hard and both dirty.
Verdict - NFA Racing Incident but 1LP to Kinable for no POV

Incident 5: Uyar vs Imtiaz

Explanation: Imtiaz brake checked Uyar and caused him FW damage
Verdict: 5s + 2LP to Imtiaz +1 LP for no POV

Incident 6: Medeiros vs Tulppo

Explanation: Aapo is going for the Esports line and because there were no race briefings on if this is allowed or not i simply cant penalise it.
Verdict - NFA

Incident 7: Maltby vs Uyar

Explanation: even though there arent Race Briefings. Pit lines are always there and there to not be crossed.
Verdict - 5s + 2LP to Uyar for dangerous driving

Explanation: Reports have to be done within 24 hours of race start time.

F3 S12 - Round 7 - Austria 🇦🇹

Incident 1: Shawn vs Teodor (SR)

Explanation: Teodor was sliding because of the rain and went on the throttle slightly too much causing him to slide over to the right and putting Shawn in the wall.
Verdict - 5s + 2LP for Teodor

Incident 2: Shawn vs Maltby

Explanation: Maltby had someone on his right and got tapped slightly which caused his car to be slighly out of balance and unfortunately tapped Shawn. This is just an unfortunate T1 Lap1 accident.
Verdict - NFA Racing Incident

Incident 3: Hodde vs Matusiak

Explanation: Matusiak moved over to the right to avoid the car infront. In the proces he hit Hodde in the wall while they were on a straight.
Verdict - 5s + 3LP to Matusiak

Incident 4: Lyubenov Penalty Appeal

Explanation: The game is bad.
Verdict - 10s penalty removed

Incident 1: Yeast vs Matthew

Explanation: Matthew retired on track and blocked Yeast in the proces.

Explanation: Imtiaz got tapped from behind causing him to go in the wall

Original verdict: QB + 2LP + 5LP retiring on track
New verdict: penalty stays

Explanation: steward deemed the penalty correct, as Matthew clearly blocked and retired on track. the resulting accumulation of QB's is unfortunate but a penalty cant be reduced in severity for this reason

F3 S12 - Round 9 - Singapore 🇸🇬

Incident 1: Darius vs Lukas and Calum

Explanation: Lukas spun over the kerb of the pit entry. Calum couldn’t see him and tapped him slightly round. Causing Lukas to be facing the wrong direction and blocking the pit entry and getting a DSQ from qualifying. His car went on the track and caused Darius to avoid Lukas. Darius crashed because of the wet track in the wall and eventually dnf.
Verdict - NFA + 1LP to calum for no POV

Incident 2: Aapo vs Robbe

Explanation: Aapo and Robbe are battling side by side and Robbe didnt leave enough space to Aapo to make the corner.
Verdict 2 - 5s +2LP to Robbe + 1 LP for no POV
Note: Robbe told he would give POV on wednesday so that can be removed.

Incident 3: Darius vs Codemasters

Explanation: game is bad
Verdict - Position reinstated (P3 8 seconds behind leader)

Incident 4: Lyons vs Uyar and Imtiaz

Incident A is T1 and Incident B T3
Explanation Incident A: Ozan cut Lyons of in T1 and had enough room on his right.
Verdict - 3s + 2LP to Ozan

Explanation Incident B: Lyons and Imtiaz were side by side through the corner and on exit, Lyons steered in on Imtiaz and crashed both of them out.
Verdict - 2LP to Lyons

Incident 5: Sparrow vs Daniel

Explanation: Daniel took avoiding action for the ghosted of Calum but had Sparrow next to him and crashed both of them out.
Verdict - 5s +1LP to Daniel changes to 3LP since dnf

Incident 6: Sparrow vs Vince and Furqan

Explanation: Furqan went down the inside of Vince and was alongside and therefore should have been given enough space to go side by side. Unfortunate for Sparrow as collateral damage.
Verdict 5s + 2LP to Vince changes to 4LP since dnf

Incident 7: Sparrow and Lukas vs multiple drivers

Explanation: Madness.... Imtiaz divebombed into Lukas. Calum rear ended Sparrow what gave Lukas another tap to make him spin around.
(too much chaos is going on here, asked other steward for his opinion)
Verdict - 3s + 2LP to Imtiaz and + 1 for no POV, 5s +2LP to Calum + 1 LP for no POV ( now 3LP to Imtiaz and 4LP for Calum since dnf )
Note: since these drivers only had a couple hours to give POV they can send that still in to remove the POV penalty

Incident 8: Darius vs Lukas

Explanation: Lukas forced Darius off track, he had enough space on the inside.
Verdict - 5s + 2LP to Lukas + 1LP for no POV( now 4LP + 1LP for no POV since DNF )

Extra note: since Maltby and Teodor didnt race 95% they dnf from this race

**Appeal of Incident 4 by @tranquil parcel **

Original verdict: 3s + 2LP
New verdict: Original stands

Description: Upon review, stewards have determined that Ozan did not give space to the car on the inside of the corner. Therefore they are at fault. Original verdict stands.

Edit: Ozan has 1 appeal remaining this season.

F3 S12 - Round 10 - Brazil 🇧🇷

Incident 1: Samuel vs Ozan RACE

Explanation: Samuel and Ozan are side by side through T4. However Ozan cut Samuel off and left him not enough space.
Verdict - 3s + 1LP to Ozan

Incident 2: Ozan Reset to Track SR

Explanation: Ozan resets to track. Violating Rule F9.1. Since this is his 2nd Offence this season i will have to penalise it 2x as much
Verdict - 2x 3LP ( 6LP total )

Incident 3: Sparrow vs Medeiros RACE

Explanation: cant penalise Rafael for this since there was no contact and Sparrow had just enough space. but i am able to remove one of Sparrow his warnings for Track Limits since he wanted to avoid contact.
Verdict - NFA + warning removed (total of 7 now 6)

Incident 4: Sparrow vs Medeiros pt.2 RACE

Explanation: Sparrow and Rafael are going side by side through the corner. therefore both drivers should be given space. Sparrow got Pushed off track and lost the position.
Verdict - 3s +2LP to Medeiros

Incident 5: Hodde vs Kinable RACE

**Reasoning: After carefully reviewing the footage, the onboard of Samuel shows whisky he was not left exactly a cars width, he was able to continue the car on the kerb and no collision or greater issue arised. The slight closing of the gap was hard racing from Ozan, and the incident in question had no bearing on the outcome of the corner. The stewards fully believe that Ozan would have came out the corner ahead had an extra inch of space been given as he carried significantly more speed with a wider outside line. This incident had no bearing on the outcome of the corner or the race

Description: heading into t1 joe was on the inside of Alex. Alex breaks earlier than joe and turns into him. That follows that both of drivers going off track.
At the rejoin Alex kisses Joes Rear end slightly which follows that joe losses a lot of positions. So dangerous rejoin.

For incident 6: Matthew steers in on Ryan. Therefore his own fault.

For incident 15: although it’s a stupid move from Ryan. Ryan was alongside at all times, and should have been left room. Matthew clearly didn’t leave a cars width. And yes it is possible to leave room in that corner.

Incident: Upon reviewing the relevant Ban's and Licence Points table it was noted that @slim kelp had not served his Qualification Ban in Round 3 as listed in #1394946273035030528 and this being posted ahead of the race in the #📢︱f3-announcements channel.

Decision: Qualification Ban moved over to Round 4 and must be served at the Donator GP in Baku. @slim kelp will also be disqualified from all sessions from Round 3 and drivers that classified behind him will gain an extra position.
