New Player Tips

I will be making an account in 2 hours and playing all night. Any tips for a new player? (Also I am interested in guild play but it seems most of the content for it is not out, is that the current state of things?)

• If you will see warning related to Wildlands, dont go there.
• Most of the crafting skills is worth to lvlup.
• All of gathering skills is worth to lvlup.
• If you cant decide what class to play, create a few characters and test classes you like. But keep in mind, later in game you able to change class in any time.
• If you struggle - feel free to ask in chat. Community is really helpful here.

Is player density healthy at peak times or can it be overwhelming?

I never had issues with that tbh.
Server can have some issues from time to time, but devs is really active and fixing them.

Solitary Isles, the first state of the game after the new tutorial (Isles are tutorial 2), is usually more densely populated than other parts of the game. I always see people running about, like it doesn't feel empty, but I also don't usually find myself competing too much for resources, outside of peak times in the Isles.

On the continent it can feel a bit empty because of the smaller, incredibly dedicated player base, but it's mostly just because Irumesa is vast as fuck.

One more thing: I made an Ironman for my first character. Friend did too. For your first run at the game, unless you are very experienced with similarly styled game modes in a game like OSRS, I wouldn't recommend doing that, for a few reasons. Make a regular or regular Hardcore character if you're feeling spicy.
