This is going to be a post that I will update later regarding the performance of this class I will start with things I can say right now even tho I am only lvl 15 with lvl 16 survivalism but, enough for me to notice glaring issues with the class

#

General feeling of the class: slow really slow, you are playing a class that is neither fast to attack nor to cast skills, the cooldowns are long for most of your skill and whenever you kill an enemy your nest battle would start with you only having quick shot available.

Quick shot is a great basic skill it does what it is supposed to do an have a nice 3 seconds cooldown nothing bad to say about this

#

Hunting shot is a nice skill and can be consider the "buff" and utility that you add to a battle with this class, but it is very lacking in comparison to things like a Brawler which increases damage by 20%? why is this class only applying 8%?? this class for sure deals way less damage than a brawler so it cannot be that it would make it super strong, so in my opinion the cooldown should be like 10 seconds and make the damage increase 15 to 20%

#

Crippling Shot Is a slow which makes it understandable for it to have a 6 second duration and a 12 seconds cooldown this skill is fine.

#

Piercing Shot is another skill that works perfectly fine, I think that this skill should do damage to the enemy directly behind the one you are attacking so that the Piercing in the name makes more sense, but cooldown and damage is fine

#

Explosive Shot This is one of the most annoying skill I have ever use with any class in this game, not only you need to first press the key where you have it assigned but also then you need to click the ground to select the area where you want it to go, I do understand the versatility that it gives to the skill but I hate it with all my being please just make it a tap target skill that deals AOE damage on impact and change the cooldown to 6 seconds so that the class also have a skill with a reasonable low CD like any other dps I have played most dps would have a 3 seconds basic skill and a 6 seconds additional skill to use

#

Rapid Fire Why? archers are for sure not basic attack classes so why even give me an attack speed buff instead of a damage increase buff? also why is this even a skill with 42 seconds cooldown? Duskbow not only deals way more damage than a hunter but also have a passive that gives it 20% attack speed permanently with no cooldown making it so that this is kill is just like have 1 skill less as a hunter (please do something I beg you)

#

Ensnaring Trap We get to the "fun" part, not only does this class have 1 skill that I hate with all my being but it actually have 3 such skills (pleaseeeeee!!) nothing to do here the skill needs to stay as it is but please make it so that it drops 3 traps covering 3 tiles instead of a single one or make a single one but bigger, mobs alwasy side step it and when you are diagonally to your enemy it is pretty much impossible to know where the enemy would go. I would invite anyone that is reading this now to please see all the skills above check the range for all of them which is 8 but then traps are 5 which make it so that you cannot actually start a battle with a trap without getting the agro from the mob, pelasee for the love of god make it 8 range as well.

#

Barbed Trap Nice skill and good damage, but the cooldown should be the same as Ensnaring Trap since generally that is the best way for you to use the skill you first Root the enemy and then use this trap on top of it before you make arrows rain on it, range should also be change to 8

#

Final conclusion up to this point: The auto attack range of the character is lower than the range of the skills so if you were to use the trap on the enemy to then make all your skills rain on it (assuming you guys give the traps the same range) then unless the enemy gets closer to me I would not be able to use any auto attacks.

The class feels slow, clunky and generally weaker than a Duskbow and probably also a Ranger but I need to test that one first, Archers are the physical mages of the game but they lack the impact that a magic class have in the game, I will continue to test and will update this feedback as I lvl up more and more.

I mean my opinion with classes doesn’t go to far, but I do agree with the rapid fire comments lol

#

I, personally, like explosive shot being a targeted ability. Adds a skill layer to the class

#

We could increase the “grab” range of the traps

Time to wrap this up, there are 2 skills I didn't had at the time I created this review so here we go with those.

#

Concussive ShotThis skill is perfect in regards to the functionality and also the damage, but issue? the cooldown is way to long, I really have to say it, one of the biggest issues with hunter and all Archers in general is that the cooldowns are way to long.

#

Poison Arrows When you read this skill and think about this being your last skill after getting to lvl 25 discipline you will probably be disappointed, until you get the skill and use it, the damage is great and is a really good skill to start a battle with, big issue? 36 seconds cooldown?? like really??

#

Final early game conclusion Hunter is a class that feels good for killing but only if you have insane gear enchants and weapons playing this class even versus the early game enemies that are relatively easy feels super bad, I am only enjoying the class due to me having insane armor/weapons/enchants it was easy to lvl up but I can see people playing the class as a new player would suffer a lot and would dislike this class. My last update about this class will be in a video I will make for a complete review of all Archer classes at lvl 30 which I will be posting here.
