I know this may be a massive task but I think an amazing feature would be to have a little note on each item that says where it can be found/crafted/what mob might drop it.
Ex:
Pillar of Kodoku
Perfect Quality
Strength Weapon
Two-Handed
Chance on Hit: Inflict Kodoku for 10 seconds.
Kodoku:
Deals Nature damage over time.
Weapon
Crushing Damage 9000-9999
