#Cotton plants - broken?

At first i was able to harvest 2-3 plants, then they all stopped working, even the plants that re-spawned.
A relog didn't fix it.

Then i ran into another player who was able to gather them and asked if my sickle was broken.
It was.

There was no alert from the game to say my sickle was broken.
Am running around the Irumesa town looking for a bank and a way to repair my broken sickle.
This is my first brush with durability.

p.s. i never found the bank or blacksmith in Irumesa, i went back to Solitary after about 30-40minutes.
(Irumesa was massive to walk around in, almost overwhelmingly hard to explore without map markers for a district or workstation or bank or market)
Learned that i NEED a crafting skill to repair because repairing works worse if your skill is low.

This is a good call actually, perhaps an onscreen splash alert to state that this tool is broken?

You can use some npcs outside some blacksmiths to repair your gear.
