I just installed Ethyrial via steam yesterday. I can log in and get to character creation, but the game always crashes after a few minutes of working on making the character.

So I bum rushed making a character to see if that would help things. Turns out it did. I was able to play for a few hours without crashing by speeding my way through character creation. Wierd that your character creation menus crash after about 5 minutes though.

that is super odd. Robin did get back to me but he said next client patch we should run in developer mode, which shows the errors to the player when they occur. That should help us track down more issues.
Question: do you 'disable background' by chance?

Yep. Just tried making a new character just to see if it would crash again. It did so.
