After watching a whole bunch of Westworld, I am obsessed with Dr. Robert Ford. So I am planning to make the players unintentionally go into a demiplane that is a copy of the city they actually want to go to.
I need people to check me, poke holes in the idea, and help me expound on the idea.

I already have a dangling grey-side boss that I wrote a long time ago but have no idea what to do, and I realised what I wrote with them can work for the master of this city.
As for plot reason and conclusion, said bgeg is on a faction that wants something the party would never part with, a magical macguffin that also happens to be key to a personal story. That’s what is most of what I have.
As for sprinkling clues, I do have an idea yeah. Since the city would need to be populated by either simulacra or illusions, I am planning similar tricks as Westworld does, showing the routines, making things feel incredibly samey almost dejavu
