Exactly what the title says, I'm going to have my teeth removed Thursday morning and run the session Saturday night. Has anyone had a similar experience? How difficult was it to talk afterwards (I'm going to have all 4 teeth removed). Should I postpone the session until I'm better?

oh yeah
I had the same thing with all sorts of injuries

you'll probably want to 1st
ASK YOUR DOCTOR
it's VERY important to ask a doctor about these kinds of things

2nd wait till the next day after the operation to measure your ability to preform a dnd session

3rd I'd probably postpone it for like 2-4 days minimum to be safe

worth noting that removals from upper mouth is a faster recovery

#

But two days afterward is really pushing it imo. So i’d personally recommend postponing the session

#

(Not to say that you should wait for like a month. But like just listen to the body and give yourself the appropriate rest)

I've had friends who recovered crazy quickly from wisdom teeth
I was not one of them
I got them out in 2 and 2, and got knocked out for a week+ both times

on the funny side, it would have been a hoot to try to DM with your mouth stuffed with gauze and high off painkillers

It wasn’t a lot of bleeding. Just kind of a constant trickle of warm irony taste from the hind jaw

#

Too much to sleep with. Not enough that i was worried about my health and safety

so how nauseated did you get from all that blood in the belly?

not much tbh. The nausea was from the extra gauze a nurse gave me while i waited in the ER. Turns out the dentists got some special taste neutral gauze

#

and the emergency room gauze was… yuck

never really thought of that
