Hmm, have you tried to validate the game files or are there any errors in the console (F9)?

Sometimes I have an issue where icons don’t load or take ages to load as well

Have you changed anything in the past few days (since this is happening)?
For instance, I know that some anti virus programs block certain steam connections that prevent you from uploading or other stuff.

and i dont ahve any anti-viruses, even at the time of it starting

and no i havent changed anything

the only thing i changed was something during the no icons, which was the import png into thumbnails

I think it's simply caused by poor internet connection (that's when I have it), and JNI can unfortunately not fix your internet connection
