You should be able to turn on your weapon light/laser while two handing a weapon like in ITR1

At the moment, it feels a little goofy having to constantly pull your gun to yourself to be able to toggle your light and laser attachments.

It felt much better in the first Into the Radius game where you could toggle it by pressing a button on your off hand while two handing a weapon.

To stay in line with the absolutely stellar weapon customization system in Into the Radius 2, I humbly request a pressure pad switch to put on your weapon so that you can turn on your lights and lasers by either clicking to toggle, holding to enable, or a mix of both by having it toggle from a double click and enable when holding down a button.

Either that, or put the old system back in where you can toggle it with your off hand while two handing a weapon

I'm going to have to agree with the pressure pad sentiment. Pistols are especially goofy having to turn lights or lasers off and on, it feels especially off putting to me since I have pressure pads on my Canik irl 🤣

The rifles feel very awkward with them especially if you're running a light or laser on ANY of the snipers. Just a nightmare to use them effectively.

Also would love to be able to rack a pistol slide while holding a mag in the same hand, it's absolutely doable in real life and would make reloading in an intense firefight a lot less awkward

Reverse Grip AK reload as well would be nice but that's a "personal want" lol

When you say reverse grip, do you mean holding the mag upside down like how some games animate AN-94 reloads? Namely COD 2019?

The mag smacking is but in my experience with the AK, if you go under the gun and rack it, your arm just clips through the gun and racks it normally

Yeah it isn't super noticeable unless you do it often. Overhand is definitely the most consistent and reliable, but I love the look of reverse racking haha

itr1 had the underhand i think, at least for left hand (left hand would over too but right hand only overs i think)

itr1 ive noticed has a bit more smaller details like handracking for pistols having more animations compared to itr2

Yes it did I'm pretty sure, because I am right handed so I used the AK left handed just for the underhand reload lol.

I noticed this too when I played some ITR1 again a few days ago. The hand tracking was definitely a bit better in the first one and it did have a bit more attention to detail on reloads and gun cleaning (cleaning the barrel)

The noises they made were nightmare fuel, I had two of them gang up on me and one of them flanked me and killed me from behind.

The new mimic voicelines have some pretty crazy sounds too though, so if the sliders got some new enhanced sounds they'd be even crazier

Oh yeah the seekers were pretty scary too I actually forgot about them being completely silent 😅 We need a bit more horror back from these enemy types for sure

The btr was pretty cool albeit annoying sometimes haha, but yeah I'd like some more new entities too. I'd like to see some more anomalous animals or something maybe, instead of just people or weird ribbons and scissors mangled together. Like a mimic bear would be terrifying, I just don't know if that kind of thing would fit

That's what I'm saying, but I also don't know the story implications of why it wouldn't work either. My friend mentioned it's weird there's like no remnants of any animals at all, I had no explanation for that. Especially since the game is clearly inspired by Stalker

A boat would be interesting, I haven't been to the new maps, is there more water?

Like they have cut enemies that were actual mutated hybrid people things that spit acid so idk

That's a ITR2 cut enemy called the Spitter in the files which I agree looks very out of place

I think if they did the animals like the fragment enemies, it would work but not like the cut stuff lol

The Spitter looks VERY stalker influenced

I liked being able to do this in ITR1. in ITR1, if you had a laser and light installed, it'd just turn both on. If in ITR2 they did similar, it'd be nice if:

1st click - laser only
2nd click - laser AND light
3rd click - light only
4th click - all off again

toggling the IR laser between vis and IR can still be separate.

imo best would be

• one click : toggle flashlight status (since thats what i personaly would use regularly, since it gives my position away the most)
• Double click: toggle laser status
• hold for 1 second: toggle both flashlight and laser state

I think the best way to do it is the click just toggles everything, then if you need something individual, it's really not much of an issue to toggle just one thing
