#1911 9mm? - Compact lootable mag

I'm willing to bet there's a 9 mil stashed version. Would help explain why there's a modified store variant and the classic also in the store.
Bear in mind it's sl4 so you're probably more likely to find it in outskirts.
i found the 9mm stashed version but...
there's spacing between the bullets in the magazine,
so im thinking it was intended to be 45acp but the barrel and magazine with bullets isnt visually spaced for that
also... i duplicated the magazine somehow., no idea how i did it...
I cant say anything other than, it looks like a bug from the visual perspective no matter how i look at it:
-looks wrong in the mag from top and side
-looks wrong when comparing bullet directly to muzzle
-looks wrong when checking chamber by pulling back
-looks wrong looking down the barrel
-still shoots tho
"Two world wars!"
yea, all 3 1911s ive seen ingame look great!
The modified one looks to be an asset. I say that because it looks an awful lot like the one in Contractors Showdown/Exfilzone
Maybe I'm crazy though
you crazy
cause they make all there assets
You sure?
Exfilzone (left) ITR2 (right)
Nearly identical.
oh idk maybe because its the same gun cant look any different
and the devs said them selfs they do
My point being, there's a million 1911 variants, so it stood out to me that this one looks so alike to one from a game that's been out for a while.
the kimber is just goated
Visual comparison (floating 45acp in backpack space vs 9x19)
It could go either way tbh. The gsh18 is supposed to be 9x19mm in real life, but it has always been 9x18 in the radius. The mag for the gsh is actually big enough to take 9x19mm rounds but it's not long enough to fit 18 of them
The interesting thing about the compact is it's clearly a store model with unpsc logo and barcode, but it's a stashed weapon...
Im still stuck on visuals. Spacing is all wrong. Gaps are all wrong. Visuals are all wrong. Or the model was never sized correctly for 9mm.
So, if its 9mm, sure. But the model is wrong and needs a complete overhaul.
Or the bullets it takes can change. And then it all fits correctly.
might be because they're the same gun?
Yeah I would be leaning towards it being a mistake for sure
It's... it's the same gun
think they mean literal same model, as in both games got it off some market place ect. I'm pretty sure the itr2 team have done all the gun models in-house, compared to itr1
Thank you. Exactly what I meant. In house or not, weird coincidence that both are the same configuration of a 1911.
There's a compact version of the M1911 that uses 9x19mm ammunition.
I found it somewhere in the Outskirts while doing a TOPmission, but I've forgotten where. I think it was somewhere near the northern edge of the map.
Yes that's what this post is about, the model is too large to be the 9*19 version as the bullets are just lost inside the mag and chamber
Apparently they should have 8 round capacity also so another reason to think it's an error. Plus it's clearly a store model as it's got the unpsc logo and barcode on
This will 100% fix my complaint. please resize the gun lol.
well what's another (NOT NICHE) modernized M1911?
I don't think there's exactly options...
Springfield armory, SIG, Wilson Combat, and probably one of the least niche, Kimber, all have modernized 1911s of various flavours, if you will
just to name a couple
well they're both Kimber M1911s
you can't exactly get much variation of something if two items are trying to be as faithfull as possible to the source
also who tf uses a SIG M1911
they don't exactly have a good handgun reputation rn
Plenty of variation. It's the fact that they're almost part for part identical that gets me.
and to fit the not niche category, these are all relatively high on Google image search..
well no shit they look different
all these are from different companies
That's exactly my point. They could've used any of them for inspiration, assuming they model in house.
And there's a million different variations of Kimbers. There's not one Kimber 1911, they have easily like 10 different lines
Do you see my point here? That with all of that variation irl, even in one brand, it's peculiar that the models are so similar between two games?
what about it
