#Black lines emanating from some objects

Black lines like the ones on screenshot appearing in the gear section of the exchange center (gear specifically. Weapons, ammo and consumables are fine) and random objects in locations. Most prominently on the bridge near distortion zone in south of forest, where the lines emanating from bridge pillars are so thick they cover most of my screen.
Lines are not synced between eyes, are of varying width and completely disappear when emanating object is out of fov.
These lines are most of the time mess even with oculus screenshot feature, making screenshot nearly or even fully black.
Drivers are up to date and both them and game had a clean install. Twice.
Graphics quality, resolution and foveation settings are changing nothing in terms of these lines.
Might be worth mentioning that this bug has persisted across multiple versions of both game and graphics drivers

Headset: Oculus Rift S
Graphics: Rx580 8G
CPU: Ryzen 5 4500
RAM: 32G DDR4

P.S. sorry for my potentially bad english.

Upd: Seems that rebar causes the most severe cases of this issue. The bottom of Pit anomaly in outskirts is almost entirely covered in darkness

Confirming: does this problem ALSO include static non-interactable objects and not just interactable objects? Devs might want some better closeups of the issue to see the geometry source. This looks like geometry ruberbanding to me from this angle. (i havent seen this yet, using a Rift S as well.)

went on my little photohunt
Here's some more examples. As you can see the origin is either metal or concrete

The two things I know of that could cause this are, a bad shader compile ( might try clearing the shader cache) or a gpu that's about to die. My experience has been that this is the sign it's time to get a new GPU.

It isn't a general VR issue either, i played 5-10 other VR games - all was fine there

Ok, well that does make it sound like it's a shader issue then. You probably still should try using the AMD software to clear the shader cache. It's completely separate from the game and has been known to store bad shaders.

Also snooped around a bit and turns out that if I use Dx12 - Graphics turn to near-nothingness. All i can see in game in Dx12 mode is basic geometry, almost no objects (no trees, concrete debris and so on), and even those little that do show up - have plain single-coloured texture. But all the objects are seem to be loaded by engine, since i can hear anomalies and my steps on the ground

do you have any other UE5 games to try? potentially with VR mods?

#

RON for example

can you try stalker2 with UEVR just to see if it coems up in that? random idea and probably not to do with the engien as you say

#

assume you tried with the experiments graphics option disabled

lime echo

Baaad idea. S2 runs as hot and as barely-playable as it can get. Adding vr on top of that will cook my and me to a crisp

mystic carbon
#

yeah I know it will run like total ass, just for testing lol

The man himself says that this is outdated and is not needed with modern drivers

#

Although DeepSeek said something about driver rollback too

mystic carbon
#

true, but maybe theres some other issue it may fix

lime echo
#

DS suggests rolling back to last stable legacy driver

#

It's may of 22 💀

lime echo
#

Well, that did nothing too

mystic carbon
#

oh well

It's not a critical issue, but really hinders my efficiency in combat

#

And if my suspicion that concrete is the source of issue is correct - Outskirts will be straight up hell on earth
