#Pretty much at my limit...

I'm going to preface this about 16 times so people don't think I'm being unfair to the people working on this game. What you guys have created is borderline a masterpiece, no question about it. I am not soiling what you have created. I am not soiling what you have created.

BUT, this beta is borderline unplayable at the point I'm at right now. I'm about 10 hours in, in the Pechorsk Outskirts, and I haven't encountered more invisible walls, floors that completely lack hitboxes, lag, freezing, and crashing, in any game I have ever played before. This is a beta. I know that. It's basically a beta within a beta at this point, since the game itself isn't even fully released yet. But please, someone open my eyes here. What even is the point of releasing something like this to the public in order to test it, if I can barely test it properly? I literally cannot do anything without encountering a game breaking bug.

Let me put it into perspective with a recent firefight I had: I walk up to a group of enemies. I duck behind cover. I shoot my gun, lag spike, and I miss. They shoot at me, I move to a different point of cover. I shoot, bullet gets caught in an invisible wall. I try to run away, game freezes for about three seconds. I go into a house to try and loot/stay hidden. I climb to the second floor, fall through it to the first floor, and whatever item I was holding gets stuck up there. This entire scenario has occurred more than once.

If it is in such a bad state and this unplayable, why even give it to us to test at that point? Why not just try and fix these issues before releasing it, and just delay the update? I'd rather that and a bit of lag than this and barely being able to say anything positive. I'm not trying to sound ignorant here, I'm really not, but what else am I supposed to do here?

I mean these issues the devs are already aware of, and are fixing. They likely released it as a beta so users could help find bugs and issues faster than what the smaller dev team could've. Getting upset isn't going to fix it faster.

Another reason they probably released it now is because people were complaining about the update taking so long.

I've currently gotten my save into a crashloop in the outskirts, my typical method of stopping the crashes seemingly isn't working at this time so I might just have to wait until another update. Or try a couple other ways to fix it

#

for a while I was able to fix the crashes

#

when I first loaded in the game

#

if I pulled a gun out before the game fully loaded it'd crash

#

but if I waited for everything to full load it wouldn't

#

but if i pulled up the information menu on the gun itself

#

it'd crash

#

if the game fully loaded and a pulled out the tablet it'd crash

#

but if I loaded into the game and instantly pulled out the tablet before everything loaded

#

the tablet wouldn't crash

#

then I could wait for the game to load and I could grab my gub

#

gun

#

then pulling up the information window would crash the game

#

so I thought to put the gun into the vice

#

didn't crash

#

it opened the window on the vice, I pulled the gun off and I could open the window like normal without it crashing

#

so I just did all of that in order and I was able to stop the crashes for another couple of days
