I'm going to preface this about 16 times so people don't think I'm being unfair to the people working on this game. What you guys have created is borderline a masterpiece, no question about it. I am not soiling what you have created. I am not soiling what you have created.
BUT, this beta is borderline unplayable at the point I'm at right now. I'm about 10 hours in, in the Pechorsk Outskirts, and I haven't encountered more invisible walls, floors that completely lack hitboxes, lag, freezing, and crashing, in any game I have ever played before. This is a beta. I know that. It's basically a beta within a beta at this point, since the game itself isn't even fully released yet. But please, someone open my eyes here. What even is the point of releasing something like this to the public in order to test it, if I can barely test it properly? I literally cannot do anything without encountering a game breaking bug.
Let me put it into perspective with a recent firefight I had: I walk up to a group of enemies. I duck behind cover. I shoot my gun, lag spike, and I miss. They shoot at me, I move to a different point of cover. I shoot, bullet gets caught in an invisible wall. I try to run away, game freezes for about three seconds. I go into a house to try and loot/stay hidden. I climb to the second floor, fall through it to the first floor, and whatever item I was holding gets stuck up there. This entire scenario has occurred more than once.
If it is in such a bad state and this unplayable, why even give it to us to test at that point? Why not just try and fix these issues before releasing it, and just delay the update? I'd rather that and a bit of lag than this and barely being able to say anything positive. I'm not trying to sound ignorant here, I'm really not, but what else am I supposed to do here?
