The mq2 beta performance in the city of the outskirts tanked to the point of complete unplayability. I believe this happened due to a significant portion of said city hearing my short barreled beneli, and subsequently flocking to my location. Though I could be wrong, and it could be due to the amount of assets being loaded in, or both issues compounding. I’ve also noticed that magnified optics have a noticeable impact for a little bit of time, particularly when you haven’t had them out for a while and when you load into a location. I unfortunately do not have footage of this, but I think if I tried to record that my headset would blow my head smoove off. The customized is really sweet though, so it’s not all bad.
#Severe performance tanking in outskirts.

Upon further review, it was not enemy count causing the issue. The lag happens when you go higher up in buildings. The first and second stories are fine, but third and above have lag that gets worse the higher you are, and how long you’re there. I believe this may be due to more of the map being loaded in as a result of being higher thus letting the player see farther. Or it is potentially a prop/item being loaded causing the issue.
did you mean mq3 cus mq2 cant play into the radius 2
yeah, forgot what headset i was using lol
ive had this exact issue. and i cant record at all in outskirts. the videos all end after 4 seconds.
To be fair and honest all maps are laggy at first because they have to load everything. Here's my one thing I been told.... Just load the save do nothing look down wait 2 -3 mins. You should be stable then leave reload wait like 10 seconds ish. It's usually very short if it starts lagging
I don’t believe it’s the initial loading, the performance is only that bad when I go up a few flights of stairs, even well into an expedition. I’m pretty sure the games rendering more of the world despite not being able to see it.
That seems to be the main issue with both maps that are large. Forest will have lag of stuttering when anywhere near the new pois because it's often a hot spot FILLED with loot filled with plenty to charge
