Obviously I don't know if this has been suggested if so I do deeply apologize to them.

But as the name implies some may have bad eye sight or playing on quest so scouting or recon can often be difficult unless you either go full sniper or just randomly reenacting your favorite pirate movie with a sniper scope.

Ofcourse I don't intend just for cheap binoculars and a one and done this game also has coop! So spotter scopes are made for recording distance range drop all that fun stuff. So you can be a spotter for your sniper and get some practice as a support role.

And for solo players also the sniper recon scopes would be a expensive bulky heavy endgame option for when you can't get a second pair of eyes and hands.

Hope this idea is a soild addition and maybe might take some consideration. Pecho_Turbo_Roll

I agree that it would be a good idea. Especially since the game can be blurry if you are looking into the distance with the unaided eye

that would be cool Mabye add a more expensive version with nv or thermals

But yes

Spotting scope of some kind would be great

#

Perhaps even with a ranging graphic(?)

# brazen pond I think NVGs would throw the balance sideways

I think one way nvgs/thermals can be balanced is through literally weight they will definitely be pricey no doubt but heavy they will be often early gen nvgs and only getting better around the later era of this game so I can definitely see even thermals being maybe 25k supply credits and like 10-25 kg of weight something you actually have to commit to.

And nvgs also sorry I'm kinda getting back from a long shift at a minimum wage job so my brain is playing catch up

or make it pretty hard to read

#

anyway it would be hard to transfer what you see in the nvg to your sights

#

Thermals on the other hand would be a bit op
