Outskirts performance has dramatically fallen in .14 live vs Beta. This has been tested in both single player and co op saves on two separate machines. (both machines are performance gaming material.
- ryzen 9, 8945HS, 4060 10gb, 64gb ddr5 4800.
second machine, I7 10700f 2.9, 64gb ddr4 3200, 5060 Ti OC 16gb.
both running off nvme SSD. hardware for VR, Q3, Q3s, VD and Steam VR on DX11.)
All settings are set to preset low within the game settings during these tests.
scenario as follows:
Both saves are from Beta .14 versions, transferred to current live .14 version. one save has completed the sec 5 mission, the other has not. The specific mission completed status appears to have no effective variance to below affects.
Affects:
Map of outskirts, not in it's entirety. This issue ONLY starts to occur within the cube's detection radius outlined in the map rules. Regardless if cube is present or not. Severe frame rate drops occur hindering performance drastically for co op host or single player client once you start to enter the detection area of the cube from any direction anywhere on the map. This is 100% reproduceable. The map was probed from every conceivable direction to enter the cube detection radius with the same effect of major loss in performance and unplayable game state until the player or client exited the detection area. Game then returned to "normal" operation.
