I'm assuming this is already the plan but please make crates primarily have complete or partially complete weapons rather than just individual parts

individual parts should spawn outside of crates

something that someone just had laying around

I think the current approach is "you can find random weapon parts in crates"
I think the future approach should be "you can find weapons missing critical parts in crates"

doesn't feel as rewarding as finally finding that one final piece to complete a weapon like right now

I did think the "complete stashed weapons" we had prior in 0.13 dropped way too much. You had an whole armoury towards the end.

I prefer what we have now, finding small parts and playing lego at base ,to finally make a gun. Makes it feel a lot more rewarding.

Right now, the stashed guns you find pre-placed in the radious act more of what you are suggesting.

like the ak-74 you find in recreational dorms missing a stock (and dust cover?)

#

I think having crates drop related parts can be good.
Two parts have to be for the same gun for example.

This crate I found 3 SVD parts. Something like that

Im not a fan of the current random parts system, imo it doesnt make logical sense why random parts for different guns would all be strewn in a crate together. A 'gun' missing several critical parts would make more sense and feel much better in my opinion, as it'd feel like fixing up a broken gun more than loosely hoping RNG is in your favor and selling the two dozen duplicate parts you find

#

Plus in my experience you currently almost never have enough loose parts for a full gun before you can just buy it anyways

the concept of being able to find a bare receiver for a gun you cant buy yet, and then finding parts for it out in the wild to fix up a gun that you cant afford/access yet is awesome, but the current progression is too fast imo

#

by the time RNG rolls enough times in your favor, you will have long been able to just buy the fixed up gun parts which i suppose is fine, but it feels pretty lame
