dev team, any for this report?
If you go in documents>my games>intotheradius2-beta are there some profiles?
(I'm not a dev)
Also how old is this video
0.13.1?
Yes I have profile from 5/14/2025.
The video probably from same time cause issue is the same and no point to create new video with same issue.
Can you try moving all the saves?
It might be that cpu you have tho
I know it's a different issue but Intel CPUs are fucky
Might be worth a try
For some ppl doing this fixed the crashing on loading new areas
To be precise, I'm referring to the last 4 rows
If none of the above.... Part
Move all saves to where? I can delete entire folder, I don't need this saves
Where you want
Disable steam cloud otherwise it would just redownload them
Do I need to install Intel XTU?
Either that or bios
How this PCCORE -1 will effect my PC performance?
Realistically speaking you won't notice it
But since Intel CPUs like to push a lot of voltage they degrade faster
And it may be causing some instability
13/14th gen are affected
I haven't heard anything similar for 15th yet
The more degraded the higher voltage it needs to push those high clocks speeds
It's a spiral
I can't find this property PCCORE in bios.
I will try to start game later today and see if all other helps.
How big change the issue is cousing by VR setup?
Like virtual desktop?
Since it's not working with any streamer I'm confident the issue is either the save or the cpu
Ok so I star new game and pass training and once I select to go to start location the game is kick me to steam home screen. But the training works fine
After you moved the files or the downclocking?
After I moved files
I can't see PCCORE in bios.
But tutorial is working
Try with xtu
If moving files fixed it a bit it means something got "corrupted" somewhere
What is the point xtu if game is working but some problem with first location?
The game is fresh installed and all files from profiles was deleted so what can be corrupted?
I meant on the old save
I delete all old saves
If removing that creating a new one gave you different results it means that something got bunked somehow
I delete all saves and settings file, I start new game and pass training location
Try the xtu thing next
It's the only possible logic
The game opens this time and the steamer is unlikely to make a game crash (imo)
If the streamer crashes the game just continues on its own
I'm not really see a logic with xtu in case game working on training location, but I will try later today.
You said it crashed after loading the base right?
After I finish training and select first location it's just stops and open steamVR room, same as on video
Exactly what these ppl were experiencing
Ok I will try to install this xtu and set to -1.
also i got error mesage from STEAM
Did you do the compatibility mode thing?
If so don't do that
Just do the xtu part
Yes win 11.
Yes I have compatibility part.
I will set this back.
sorry to bother you but I cant find this PCORE in XTU tool
I think it's in the main page in the bottom
the main page is sytem information
Do you have something called advanced tuning?
yes Im there right now
Can you send me a screen?
Bottom left
Performance core 0
From 55 go 54
And if it doesn't work see if going even lower it fixes it
If it doesn't feel free to feel lucky
If it does fix it condolences
On the right of this
??
Between the green and blue XD
p-core 1?
More on the right
Ratio Multiplier?
Yup
I would probably stop at 53
If you really wanna make sure 50
But going really low affect performance
As of now we're just testing so
ok, so in case this helps, then what does it mean for me? why you condolences?
It means that your CPU is no longer fully functional but rather slowly dying
Yup
yep
You reverted the p-core 0?
yes
Xtu opened as administrator?
and for some reason now its hsow error but value set to 53
looks like it was changet
k
I start new game and its just crasing once I hot new game
I will delete profile agine
Ight
still crashing after selecting new location
Welp at least you know your CPU is fine
do I need to restart after I change this parametor?
Nope
ok let me set to 51 and check
Ight
I can call you if you want and share screen
Nah don't worry
ok let me try to 51
I'm also out of ideas anyway
and its still crashing after I trying to get in to the new location after trainig room
Btw do you have some mods?
🙂 the good news is not a processor issue bad news is that Im the lucky man I got some weird issue 🙂
no modes its a fresh instalation
We missed something
We didn't set an overall downclock but just downlocked a single core
ok 1 sec
I need to remove settings form My Games\IntoTheRadius2 averey time I restart game
That's still really weird
nope still crashing
base on saved settings I finished training so the game trying to load new location but in this step its crashing
Then I'm out of ideas
At least the CPU is not the issue
Which is rare lately
so I'm lucky but no Into the Radius 2 for me 🙂
At least you don't have to spend a ton of money XD
what is the viersion should be? I have 0.13.7 rev 36615
You can try the beta
0.14 beta 3
Maybe that fixes it?
how to downloade this?
Right click the game in your steam library > properties> beta
ok thanks I will check later and see if thta works
have a good time and thanks for helping me with this. Iw ill pin you later once I check if Beta works or not.
It is any way how I can collect some data for you so you can check log file of some bug report?
Luckily devs have added a new "logger" but idk how it works
It should help them track why the game crashes
Welp I've now heard about 15th gen instability issues
Silly question but, did you installed some mods before ? If so remove them.
I had the same situation before considering i had the "Stalker sounds" mod and my game kept crashing after doing the tutorial until i removed it
Now that you mentioned it
Even if it's a fresh install, have you ever used them?
A fresh install will delete them if you Installed them manually but if you use vortex they will keep coming back
Aye, i was confused at first too as well when i tried the beta a week ago, until i remembered i had mods on and it fixed my instant crash after tutorial lol
Yes, I used one mode for maps to show where the teleports linked
It was installed manually
Ok, I just checked the Mods folder, and I still have files from 2024. This is from the old version of the game. Looks like this folder is not deleted if you delete the game from Steam. I will try to remove this stuff and see what happens. And also after I started having this issue, I reinstalled the game 3-4 times, and this folder still exists
ye unfortunately to make sure it's a clean installation you must delete the folder manually
not your fault tho don't worry that's just steam being an asshole
it deletes the game's file i belive but since mods are not directly correlated to the game it just skips them
YES!!!!!!!!! that was the issue
hell yeah
