Perhaps my favorite playstyle. Larping as Captain Price in the infamous Chernobyl mission fits so perfectly. Which is exactly why this issue is so close to me.

Firstly, focus hardly does anything. It was so easy to line up long distance shots in ItR1 because of how low the sensitivity made it. That low sensitivity saved my life at the end of the game on Ironman mode and it needs to come back.

Secondly, the large scope needs to be readjusted for conventional placement. When placed above the trigger, the picture is 144p and the scope shadow is insane.

Finally, remove the fog or at the very least let us see through it with the scope. I've had times where clear silhouettes in the fog can't be seen through the scope. But even with that, vision is still close enough that a high powered scope isn't needed most of the time.

Heavy on the fog, the fog with the color pallete really makes it hard to see anything on distance

Finding the gray sniper on gray outskirts on gray roof where threy gray fog behind him is really tough sometimes

I migh add that render distance need to be adressed in that particular case, seeing enemy at a distance that actually are behind an unrendered obstacle is kinda annoying

I often have the problem, even today that the enemy shoots at you while it is not visible to me, due to the fog being to close. I feel like in general, enemies see you from way to far even in normal/low settings

It's just a hit or miss
