We got this issue multiple times. Usually it went like this for each crash when i tried to join again:
-The first join immediate crash
-The second join, load in but back at the spawn of the map with gear and crash about 10 seconds in
-The third join, still at spawn of map with gear but working again
But this last time we couldn't fix it. We are on the new map, and when i join my friend's game:
-The first time immediate crash
-The second time, load in but back at the spawn of the map and crash about 10 seconds in
-Then load in at spawn of map, gun not working and not able to put back in holster, every bullet in all mags are gone, objective beacon in holster despawn, when trying to open weapon stats the game crash, and game crash itself about 30s to 1 min ingame after that
We don't know for sure what happened this time, but my suspicion is that it has something to do with saving the game close to a wall. Maybe the game can't spawn the second player because it thinks it's inside a wall. What happened before this last crash, my valve controller went out of batterie, so i was running automatically against a wall in a corner.
When we relaunched the game, we couldn't play anymore.
