Pre 0.13 i was impressed with there intelligence (albeit annoyed at there super vision)
they would work together to flank you, or one would try to flush you out while the other would wait for a clear shot

but now playing on standard settings the enemies have lost nearly all cognitive function. on multiple occasions i have seen 1 or more standing around while i kill the guy next to them with the sawn-off.

its not all bad, Infact there're changes i love! like they will push into buildings now! in ITR1 or pre 0.13 you could just go hide in a small building and you would be %100 safe.
but now there is no where to run, no where to hide, you fight, or die. its great!
i also love the idea of some of them staying hidden in the buildings and waiting to ambush you. the devs should absolutely dig a little deeper with that idea!

This has been completely opposite to my experience. In 0.12, they were tough, but somewhat fair. Usually I could sneak up to and allign a shot on them first. Now, with the fog and generally reduced visibility, I havent had a single time where I dont get spotted first. Even worse too since they can shoot you easily through concealment like grass or fences as if they dont exist at all.

So i was really happy with the seeming rebalance of enemy perception as it seems more fair and i'm not being spotted from 10 miles away anymore and it's not hard for me to mostly be the first to strike on a group of enemies.

But i have too been seeing what appears to be an AI bug where certain enemies just don't do anything. I had been seeing them here and there in prior builds but i'm now seeing them far more frequently.

I'm fairly certain this bug has something to do with them being in contact with level geometry and it destroys their ai

That said i don't know how they did it but when the enemies are behaving as normal this game has THE best open world combat/tactical AI i have ever seen in any game EVER

i have noticed that enemies do seem to be spawning in geometry more now

but i'e seen a couple guys waist deep in the ground, half in walls, etc
