What if weapons and gear found in the radius had a chance to spawn with a randomized anomalous buff/debuff, something you couldn't know at first but could with more ussage. A tooltip on the weapon info can alert you that the weapon has an anomalous property that'll only reveal once you use it. Properties could be proc'd every odd, even, or numbered shot. Properties could include:

-Every proc'd bullet fired doesn't consume ammo
-Every proc'd bullet fired splits into two bullets
-Every shot is angled by (blank) degrees
-Enemies viewed through the scope/sight of this weapon are invisble
-Every proc'd shot hurts you for 1 damage
-The gun has the wrong firing audio
-The gun only fires when it's on 'safety'
-the proc'd bullet will alway richochet towards you/an enemy
-the gun won't fire but will instead eject the round
-bullets fired from this gun glow a certain color for a few seconds after firing

Plus watever other effects you could think of and randomize. This will turn every found weapon into either your new dream gun, or a curse

Altough cool idea, I dont think this lines up with radiuses theme, rn its a little weird to me that the mimics ect are physical, but they dont drop weapons/ammo and dissapear, so how physical really are they. Im thinking that they are created as one with the weapon, infinite ammo and then they dissapear as one, so being able to pickup "anomalous" stuff doesnt make much sense to me due to all the anomalous stuff radius creates dissapears when it loses control

I would love to see artifact powers like stalker tho, which could kinda do the same thing you are talking about, just find an artefact that repairs your armor or heals you, first game had the healing artefact, or summons ammo based on the mag ur holding in your second hand

#

Maybe you could lock the artifacts into same case on the weapon, like a you know, forgot what its called but little ornament on the string games have, and that would buff the weapon in some ways

#

Also the artifacts should have debuffs like stalker had, you know you get armor repair but if you have it, you do take more damage to the armor

#

The higher level the artifact the lower the debuff and the stronger the buff

They have talked about something coming in the future kind of similar for firearms, kind of like the mimic guns in the QNA channel
I can't remember specifics and they didn't say much but still I really like the idea :)
