#I can't reload pistols in 0.13.0 Beta 2

I can't seem to get pistols to load reliably since 0.13.0 Beta 2. I bring the magazine to the bottom of the pistol magwell, but the magazine just WILL NOT get sucked into the gun. I bring the magazine as close as physically possible until my controllers collide IRL, and the top of the magazines do touch the magwell. I have tried bringing the magazine in at various angle with no luck. I have tried various speeds with no luck. I takes me 10-15 seconds of desperately struggling before the magazine finally gets sucked into the gun (which feels like AGES during intense combat with fragments and creeps). In over 100 hours of ITR2, I can't recall having this issue before. I have been playin in coop as the host, if that makes any difference, and I am using an HP Reverb G2.

As a workaround, try bringing the gun to the magazine instead. For some reason, that works.

I have noticed that sometimes if I have the mag to the magwell…and I slowly back the magazine away from the magwell, it will magically get sucked in

But I can’t reliable reproduce this

Especially during combat

I just want to be able to grab a mag and quickly bring it towards the gun and have it get sucked in

Yeah, but beta for early access, lol. Anyway, hold the mag steady, bring the gun down on the mag and bounce the gun back up. It'll suck up the mag.

Yeah, hit the mag with the butt of the gun and move the gun back up, it's somehow the movement that makes it work.

I have struggled a lot with reloading shells into shotguns, but that seems like an intentional dev choice

I was bringing shotgun shells to the barrel, rather than bringing them in FRONT of the barrel

it took me a long time to relearn years of VR reloading

Funny. My brother has this problem (as client), however, I've never had it, which makes sense, since the workaround is to hammer the gun onto the mag. I always do that 🤣

for me simply "re-grabbing" the pistol lets the mag work as expected
