Hey, i have a question, i have been playing around on a new save with mods, and have discovered some bugs that have been reported, one of them, you said you didn't quite know what could be the issue, the one in quesiton is the ar10 mag not being able to repair, other items also might have this issue, but haven't singled out any others so far.
I intended to use the remington that uses ar10 mags.
I was wondering if damaged magazines make a big diference in weapon jamming and such.
I'm just about to be able to buy 54r ammo, to begin to use that gun, and was wondering if i can just wear out the mags, or if i have to clean them / buy new ones when worn.
Not the solution but as workaround you can repair such mags in repair box. Some items are hard to repair mainually, but its not easy to fix.
That is the problem, you can't repair that mag in the repair box, it has a bug where it bugs the repair box and does not finish, gets stuck at 99%.
So i have to repair it manualy... wich i don't like... or i have to replace mags and they are expensive, or i just ignore the durability... but i haven't played enough to know if mag durability impacts weapon jams and such.
If it's negligible... i will ignore them, since remain has said he was not sure what was causing that bug and not sure if he could fix it.
I can try remove all my mods, besides remains and his dependencies to see if it's a conflit, but the other guy said he did that and still has the issue.
Since i also want to pinpoint two other things i have noticed not related to remains mod, that i will try and debug later today.
which ar10 mag is it because i just fixed them in 2.0.2

Oh hell yeah, your gun mod is amazing. Gives into the radius more weapon options. But I was thinking maybe having like the pkm or maybe the m249 saw, which you would never really need it in ITR, but I think it would be a good addition considering the game takes place in Russia. It would be cool to see a pkm just laying around the zone

Cause i just created a new save game, and the first time i went to route do the first mission to unlock level one, i stayed and did many other things like grab staches and artifacts, and was looking for two of the staches and found non of them, i want to collect the guns from the stasches bue not use them, and both the pistol in train tracks and the rifle up north were not there

I do, cause i have goten them in the other save, just today i decided to start fresh on a diferent slot, changed nothing, just updated your mod to your new version, friday i got 2 stashes, and i had goten 2 of the route stashes, ones i had gotten in the other save file, tomorrow will put the older version back again, and or maybe make a new save, cause i noticed some strange things, military cases with wood textures, and missing cabinets, items floating on invisible or missing furniture, not sure it was like that before.
Thats what i thought... not sure if it was the update, or something else, but the textures and such, might be something else.

Ok, i have been for the last couple hours trying to get it to work, and nothing,
I ended up making a new save file vanilla, go to route, back to vanno, close the game, put all the mods back, and open and go back to route, and then the guns were there, but if i make a new save with all the mods in and go to route, the staches don't spawn.
Even when i deleted all the saves and made a new one with all the mods, the staches were not there, not even ones in village.
no idea, the stash system wasnt made by me so anything wrong with them is unfixable

No, but it's fine by me, if when i want to make a new save game, i have to make it vanilla and then add mods, so be it.
At least i discovered how to solve it, shame i could not fix the other save i already started with no staches...

@echo flume hey one user reported that weapons with infinite repair bug can be cleaned with ramrod+paper forever as well
just so you know that there might be an easy way to find such bugged guns

Btw, the 20 round a10 mag the curved one has been fixed, but found the same issue with the straight ones, at least the 10 round one, not tested the 20.
But since the 20 round curved one can work in the place of the others, it's not as bad as it was before when all mags were bugged.
Not sure about weapons, so far, haven't found weapons where it bugs in the repair slot, but i usually repair guns with ramrod and then take them to repair machine to repair the rest of the components, so...

The 20 round modern looking one, yeah, the 10 round straight one i found, had that issue.
Haven't tested the other 20 round one, but for me it's fine, since i prefer the look of the modern one, but for other, yeah.
Will test it again in about 4 and half hours.
Btw, unrelated to the magazine issue, i am trying to find a good balance of grind and easy going experience for me, and i was wondering, i am using scavange mod.

Is it because in the abundant version for example, your guns and such overpowers the loot table? Or what? Cause I was using abundant since I did not mind having a ton of guns, in the other save I was using, since I was having a play around with your stuff. But now I am looking to go for a more hardcore go, with no staches and lower pay, and maybe even try to not use the store, even tough I will not disable it.
yes, you should find all the guns everywhere, it’s leveled, of course, but every single gun is in the loot in someplace or another. you don’t find an RPG in bolokti, but you definitely could in castle.
the reason to only use the regular scavenger file is because the abundant and scarce versions edit the rarity of each item to create the difficulty differences, but custom items aren’t affected.
-eg if you use scav scarce, modded items will be very common and if you use scav abundant then modded items will be very rare.

I know this is not the place, but, i can't for the life of me find the stats for the 45acp guns from chucks mod.
I have looked in all his mods and such, can't find the file with the stats like damage and such, found the other guns, not the ump45 nor the 1911's and such.
If anyone has them, or can help me find them, great.
And also, does anyone know if chucks is still around modding?
Cause i saw in an update that the canted sight and light would not flip when changing levels and such, but when i load or open the game, it's flipped always... and i don't understand why the default direction of the canted sight is left, and not right... and why the default position of the light is also the other way around of how i think it should be... XD

its effects somehow dont apply unless you restart the game or immediately put another upgrade on weapon
