#scopes can be misaligned when holding a weapon at an odd angle

now this may not apply to all scopes, but ive noticed that atleast the PU scope on the SKS can be VERY misaligned when not perfectly ADS'ing
this isnt a gigantic issue but it got annoying very quickly because you cant hold any angles very well, you have to aim straight down the scope without aiming anywhere left or right, or else your scope will not indicate where the bullets will actually go

i will make a video later

#

oh and scopes really like to "freeze" sometimes for no apparent reason

#

if you go into the shop, pick up any scope, mount it to a gun and press trigger (or interact with the gun in any way other than holding it) the scope freezes and no longer tracks where it goes

#

i think its fixed by holstering and unholstering the weapon but im not sure

I may be being dumb, but that sounds like how scopes work. Unless your sight picture is correct, you won't hit what you want.

Unless I'm completely misunderstanding the problem Pecho_Scared Pecho_Scared

#

And the freezing image is an ongoing bug from stable too

the issue may be that you can see thru a scope at any angle

#

your eyes dont have to be properly aligned, thats probably why its so easy for the scope to cause me to miss

# tardy parcel afaik, this is how scopes work

H3vr has pretty realistic scopes and this isn't quite how they work
If you aren't aligned with the scope, you won't be able to see through it at all

I will make a quick video demonstrating both games in a few minutes

yeah

#

this makes scopes unnecessarily difficult to use

#

im editing down a video i made comparing the two games

#

fuck i gotta go re-record h3vr, mf recorded the left eye and not the right

now i want to preface that i dont expect itr2 to have entirely accurate scopes like H3VR, but the current way ITR2 does scopes makes them significantly less reliable and harder to use @tardy parcel

#

about half way is h3vr btw if you just want that

This is not a planned feature, but it may be changed later
