i have about four big guns holsters, two sidearm holsters, six ammo pouches, two helmet hooks, 3 ammo box holders and around ten or so of those all item holders on both my armour and backpack. the game stutters when i put items into any of those holsters or when i grab my backpack off my shoulder or when i let go of the backpack. it starts off with a couple millisecond of lag but as i play it gets worse up to around 3-4 seconds of stutter. and when i tried going back to base the game wont load in in headset but it is loaded in on the monitor (like last beta with how the forest level wouldn't load)
#game lags when putting items into holsters and locked out of save file

Lag spike is a known issue. Also I loaded your save file and it didn't stuck or anything else. It might be some hardware specific issue. We will keep an eye on it
What are your specs btw?
I may have found the issue related to lag spikes #pcvr_chat message
okay, i accidently sent the wrong savefile, i got stuck loading when i went back the the home base, i think this is the savefile where i couldnt load
ryzen 7 5700x
rtx 3060 12gb
32 gb ddr4 ram
m.2 ssd
quest 3 using steam link
i tried loading in this savefile but it didnt work for me so it might as you said be a hardware issue
Is it normal that it takes so long to load?
yeahh it took very long for me aswell
i dont know if it actually loadss after waiting i dont have the paitiennce
I also noticed that the rig the game gives you at the beginning doesn't have that issue
For the pistol at least
Still testing some stuff
I've pressed load instead of save and now it has to load for 10 minutes again
Now it does
What are you devs' PC specs?
32 gb, Ryzen 9 7940, RTX 4070
And the other one - with lower specs, but the game works fine on it
We will keep an eye on it if more people have this issue
isn't a 4070 kinda a high bar?
actual_artifacts has a ti super and has this issue
He has a 5600x tho
But I have a 5800x and have this issue in this file
I also tested with the lowest resolution I could use and as expected nothing changed
I think that's the devs work bench, so it makes sense they have a good GPU. I don't think they'd use a 4070 as a testing bench
Fair enough
