Situation: If you die and load game after death, the ammo loaded in the modified IZh shotgun changes to a different type. The buckshot turns into slugs, and tracer rounds become green. This does not affect the ammo in the ammo carriers.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Load buckshot or slugs into the shotgun.
  2. Die in the Radius.
  3. Choose the "Load Game" option.

Expected Result: The shotgun should have the same ammo loaded as before.

Actual Result: Buckshot (red ammo) is replaced with slugs (blue ammo). Yellow are replaced with some green ammo (what is this even?!).

Environment: Windows 10 Pro. Meta Quest 2 headset. The game was launched through Steam VR.

This happens after loading/reloading the game/a zone.

  • Buckshot turns a weird tealish-blue, but it's still buckshot.
  • Slugs also seem to turn tealish-blue.
  • Tracer slugs turn green.
From my own testing, the shells loaded do not change type; they just change color. In fact, all weapons with bullets loaded into their chambers appear to do this; 9x18mm and 5.45x39mm colorable bits both turn teal.

Same problem here where my short-barrel shotgun has its buckshot turned into green variant but does not affect the actual shot when fired. (singleplayer)
