#make the scarf thing around the mimics mouths red instead of orange

I thought it was orange on purpose, to match with the radius?
I do not like the jaws at all, I think a better approach would be to make it a difficulty option so you can choose if their jaws glow or not, it would make them a lot more terrifying. But yeah I do agree the orange color does clash with the the environment.
I don’t like the overall design of mimics at all. They’re supposed to sit in the uncanny valley, and right now they just look like zombies that glow a bit
Dunno if you’re saying the mimics all look like eachother or if I have the same take as everyone else lmao
They look like the robot
Oh? I’ve never been close enough to see
Lmao
This is the combo that would make a mimic
Throw some Russian officer clothes on them and bam
I do think where the design was going is cool they just look to clean
They took too big of a jump from itr to itr 2
Same for the spawns
They look nice but they don't fit
They are cool but they don't fit
There needs to be an in-between
Oh they are literally half orange juice
um its not a scarf though
As much as I don't like the jaw I don't think turning it red is gonna fix it
I like it all how it is
I didn’t at first
But it grew on me quickly
Also, I’m not sure I understand what a red jaw would improve
The glowing aspect does make them less scary because you know exactly where they are at all times
I think a lot of people suggested a difficulty setting to stop the jaw from glowing which makes perfect sense
Yeah, that might be cool
I know a ton of people would scream bloody murder if the jaws didn’t glow
Especially with the combat difficulty
And the level of darkness in ITR2
But as a difficulty setting… if people want’t to constantly be shot to death from seemingly nowhere - sure
I love seeing 100 fireflies running around with guns in the distance
100?
😳
It is intimidating to see a handful of orange dots glowing in the distance once you crest a hill in the dead of night
Idk if the enemies still duplicate
They should be the black void material, have the clothes, and just glowing orange eyes/pupils. Or not glow at all.
That's too little of a jump
More of a mixture would be good
Maybe if some random parts of their body were black and fragmented
Maybe when damaged they can show the black goo interior
Almost like they evolved actual skin
