Typically, your comfort is fine [Always at 30.8 fps anywhere], although, you may get PTSD, and get flashbacks [Fps drops down to 22-25] when looking at that bright shiny door [The main UNPSC base entrance]!

In short, fps drops by 25% when looking towards the UNPSC gate from either side

I get a really bad frame drop in the UNPSC base aswell, and it's especially bad when looking towards the exit.

I'm just gonna have to state this out here, one of you is on an underpowered laptop, the other on a 6 year old CPU. That's why you're experiencing bad FPS

Optimization is key regardless. 70w is the highest power wattage available out there for a 2050 laptop anyways. I’m just stating areas where fps drops anyways

@kind arrow another issue is meta (somewhere in oculus files) is forcing the app to run with ASW and I’m trying to find a fix, but nonetheless they are still 25% fps drops

pico 4 is a quest 2 competitor
its not as widely supported as quest for standalone, for example it doesnt have pavlov shack iirc

pico 4 has a bit lower specs in standalone than Q3 is a year older then Q3 but has same resolution and got the pencake lenses earlier
has not quite that same standalone features thats true but in PCVR its smoother and better then Q3 in my opinion i could test both
