Description: The tablet doesn't recognize that you've entered the compound so no objective spawns (see screenshot).
SOLUTION: You have to jump through the portal higher up; really give 'er, like you're trying to jump over it.

Bug occurred on a Quest 3 connected via Steam Link to Steam VR.

It didn't spawn for me once, and I jumped right into the top. Are you sure this is the solution or did it just happen to work when you tried it twice?
I wish I would've kept a save from right before so we could test it.

maybe you have to try and jump past it not just into the top. Idk. I can tell you the first time I walked into it, the second time I ran and jumped over it. I only tried the 2 times
maybe you can just run through the portal again? Just leave the boarding house and run to it?

I don't know. I'm assuming the devs will have to do their own testing. It may be helpful for future (pre-bug-patch) who come here with the same problem if we can figure it out.

Yeah. I've spent about 2.5 hours just taking new gear out and exploring. Before this my missions (and fear of getting killed) always prevented me from really exploring around. I would only focus on the mission and get out.

the fix for me was to collect the artifact near the portal (don't know why this worked)
