I have a distinct love for the KS-23. With how ridiculous it is and how powerful it is measured by its low capacity and its niche ammo type. I think it would make an interesting weapon for the radius and be the shotgun equivalent of the desert eagle. A lot of power, but expensive ammunition and very loud. With its downside of a low capacity before having to reload. It does have a stock and a lightweight version. It fits the post Soviet atmosphere.

It also has multiple ammo type that players could find fun during gameplay.

it might just turn into a .357 and deagle situation where theres only one gun for the caliber

make it actually able to penetrate armour (when its implemented) and shotguns will actually be decent past the mid game this time

@shut glen Well luckily there are break action 4 gauge shotguns, they’re double barrel, but still. As for armor piercing, up close, standard rounds would devastate armor, at range you’d use slugs. The interesting thing about slugs for 4 gauge is they made 4 gauge slugs for the KS-23 designed to knock out car engines, which also makes it a nightmare for armor.

Itr2: less guns more customization than itr1
I'd leave this to mods imo

There’s nothing stopping ITR2 from having more firearms and also customization. We can have our cake and eat it so long as it doesn’t bother the devs.

We need a new caliber. Instead of them adding 7.62 NATO and 5.56 they should add another caliber first like .45 ACP or sum

I think out of all the calibers that are probably going to be in the game I think 5.56 should be added last

They’ll likely add these in batches. Start with what we know from itr1 plus polish and a few new weapons, then start adding whole new calibers.
