i think your left joy stick may be experiencing stick drift from continuous use (Happened to me before) so try it out in different games then see if it still has stick drift in other games or just in ITR2

Does sprint work if you click right stick

Also get some contact cleaner and fix your drift

yeah it’s every game the joystick cover broke off so it’s just a stick

my friend's sprint isn't on a button press, but on pushing a stick up like it was in itr1, that was his default setting and it might be yours as well. (idk if you've tried this already but it took us a bit to figure that out)
