#M9 Berreta safety inverted?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Yup, I experienced this too.
yea i’ve seen this too, it’s not an issue really but it bugs me a lot
(and it’s kinda weird the slides are locked when in safe)
Yep, it is inverted 😄 Also yep, the slide should work with safety turned on
Will be fixed
Thanks for the report!
is the makarovs slide supposed to be locked when safety is turned on?? cant seem to find anything about that being present on the real world counterpart
One of our team members told me that the PM safety also blocks sliding. Couldn't find a suitable video example too 😭
i just read about it, apparently the russian makarovs have the slide locking part but other ones (like east germans) do not have it
or it seems to be different depending on the model
thats odd
With the Beretta 92FS or the Beretta M9, The safety does not keep the slide from moving. Only from the trigger being pulled.
Yes, we're already tracking down the M9 inverted safety bug and the slider lock bug, so they should all be fixed when we get to them
also any plans on adding the red dot to the mak safety?
not a huge issue at all but its nice to see the red dot when on fire
Can't promise anything right now ^^
First, we focus on current bugs
makes sense, appreciate the response tho
i love these devs so much
same
Same. 😄

I can confirm that the slide locks when the safety is engaged on the Makarov in real life.
I finally got my hands on an East German Makarov pistol. They are a joy to shoot, very reliable and ridiculously simple to maintain. After shooting this East German Makarov, I understand why this pistol has been used by Military and Police the world over for more than 60 years.

yea i looked into it too, have never heard anything about it in the past nor seen it depicted anywhere
also seems to depend on the origin of the gun? either it seems like some are broken but i also heard some dont have the slide locking feature
Yeah. Some have a manual slide lock and some don't. But from what I've seen the Makarov in 'ITR2' is correct.
