Should add a turning option “off” so we only use real-world turning.

Also I noticed that real crouching doesn’t work to get through the obstacles in the tutorial. So, should probably allow actual crouching, too.

Crouching seems to have a a cut off line for when it doesn't let you move anymore. I've already gotten "a bit" hurt during firefights because I crouched too low and couldn't move because of that

Further observation: physically crouching doesn’t change my movement speed. So as long as I don’t hit that line where it stops me fully, I’m a half height speed boy

Oh that’s interesting. I am probably failing to remember since it’s been like, years since I touched any setting in itr1… I would have thought turning could just be disabled. But that’s probably thinking of another game.

Maybe I should set it to “1” since I’ve been reorienting the body using the turn.
Seems to get stuck off to the side quite a bit.

Right, I get that, (besides the sliding out to my left or right, of course) but it will be fixed or should I say “refined” as development continues and I might use a 1 degree turn to force a recenter until then.
(Considering itr1 and basically every other game I play handles body turning much closer to how my body is actually posed)
