so..idk how to say this but how to u make skins in ibis paint, i just downloaded it and need a lil’ tutorial, thanks!

So, first you wanna upload the skin template. I always go for the higher quality option.
Once its in, make a layer and place it so that it is lower than the template. Choose a color and color it in.
When you want to add the next color, add another layer and color it.
Repeat this until you have your colors and patterns set
From there you can go in between layers to blend the patterns so they don't look so abrupt

Hopefully that makes sense

I just noticed the underbelly carries on to the tail, at the tail it looks more brownish. I think that colour should be for the entire underbelly

As for the body it’s just beautiful, the way the browns blend in is so appealing to the eye

Looks cool so far! If you want to let it look like the cutie birdie, I would recommend to make a blue strike around the eyes and following back the orange stripe, also giving it on the backup a big orange one, with a tip blue on his back🧡 - but great so far!

||(i know you want us to dm but dming random people makes me anxious)|| personally, i use firealpaca. it's free but it's really good for being free, also easy to get a layer under the lineart to color it and clipping is a charm to work with. just color the entire area under the lineart, get the bucket tool and click the transparent color then choose the pixel thickness you would need and bucket tool around it. pretty good to use

Valentines... isn't quite here yet, but it is fast-approaching, so I did two skins.

The first is a flamingo Struthi (good thing you guys said it, or I would have been a dingus and made the flamingo skin for Spino lol).

The second is a Rosefinch Laten, which I got the idea from Kniik's comment earlier.
