Slowly but surely learning to paint in Blender (and to paint in general really) LOL. Looking into making custom brushes now so I can blend all these properly the next time around, if I can build up a good pack I might stick with blender. Kit has nothing to do with that process as many things utilize it.

I did make them by hand. By overlaying exact Opacities and shades of Red, Blue, Yellow and whatever the marking color is to create the rest of the rainbow. It usually takes me atleast 5 hours to ge them all just right.

More of a matter of personal opinion but the skin kinda reminds me of moths, and a lot of moths have eyespots so I’d maybe try something more earthy?

I’d keep the body base fairly subdued in favour of emphasising the little eye patterns so that they appear more striking, not that already aren’t

Another skin I wanna make for rhamph is a sickly skin for realism servers- since it carries the plague ability, I think having a skin that makes them look PLAGUED and unwell would be a fun thing to add

In the server I’m running we plan on having a plague event for the players where rhamphs can infect dinosaurs which leads to mass aggression and fever scales (turning white like a fever pelt in cats) so I think it would add an extra fun spice to it

For later reference, you can make different layers for each color. So then you can just slap the color down to fill in any blanks on its own layer below everything else, cant screw anything up then
