I was thinking of doing those on the neck and tail but if I were to add it on the back and tail I feel like it would be harder to escape predators. I also have never done scales and wasnt using a reference, so ignore any weird scale inaccurate placement. Also my second time making digital art "properly"

gonna stop here for now, kinda added the scales randomly and with no reference or guide lines it kinda looks awkward in some places, but oh well for my first time im happy with the results. no idea how ill add the patterns and colours but thats a future issue

think the frill kinda ruined the head a bit, the scales seem too geometric and stuff. If i was serious about it and it was my own drawing n stuff, i would redo it, but considering its just a practice without references i dont rlly care haha

after i do the jaw and finish the scales with some lighting, ill leave it alone and make my own trike art, might as well if im spending so much time on just the head of someone else's lineart
