I think it depends on what play style you're doing, if you're focusing on distance and bleeding out bigger opponents, heavy bite will be good to use when you get up close, but if you're going to focus on chasing down smaller prey, the triple bite attack will be super strong

You def need one of them for regular bite cuz that's the only one that does bleed

This is just theory but if you run regular, heavy, Bloodbath (I think its called), and dash it kinda is the best of both worlds. You would have good bleed damage and a quick attack. Heavy bite for running in and doing a lot of damage. Bloodbath to help keep your stamina up and dash to get quick attacks in or keep your distance to let them bleed and get your heavy attack back.

keep mind I haven't gotten it to adult yet, much less tested anything Im just spitting out ideas

I've been running bloodsoaked on mine, it's definitely worth it especially since it's so reliant on having stamina for a lot of its abilities

With full bloodsoaked you don't even need to sit or lay down to regen pretty quickly

Yes, they healed each other but I don't know how much they gained from it. But apparently it is worth it. But I guess something has to be changed so that it cannot be exploited like they apparently did. Like for example that it gets a cd or that you only get meat out if you do body hits and not on the tail

It's faster than apexes so you never have to face them, has legs with KB immunity so pycnos aren't scary either

ive mostly been stealing from other dino's kills and from their body with the sense that slicer has to go with it, which buffs your speed by 20% so you can outrun literally anything even without the tail fan double jump, its fun for scavenging, not good for fighting critters tho ive found a way around that

I disagree with the first paragraph. I'm not even a fan of us being able to keep our skins between deaths, so I think keeping marks would remove the stakes way too much. As I got closer and closer to 10,000 marks to get a mela skin the game got more and more exciting! Your point about filling ability slots taking longer than growth is a good point, but my solution would be slowing down the passive growth across the board. That way hitting adulthood and filling all slots would happen around the same time.

I totally agree with the second paragraph though, I've found perma way more immersive than any realism server I've tried.

i think the mark loss is fine tbh, tho i like keeping the skins, what ive noticed after having an adult for a while you just kind of have an abundance of marks when you could not have enough when you're growing, maybe just increasing the mark gain to match the growth of quests would be nice and then they'd go back to normal upon getting to sub or something

the water quest is easily the best way to grind marks too, even making the deliver flower quests a little bit longer would be nice

If I get skill x and x instead of an important one I won't survive the fight, and that's fine

There is no nesting and no real reason - besides counting how long you can keep your dino alive for - to be an adult

I wish stat scaling was a bit different for smalls though, similar to how Isle has it. Being fastest when you're fully grown means your own species under adult are your food everytime
