People are so anxious around other people because they can't talk nor group so they can't mega mix

On an unrelated note this was my first time trying this game mode

Another thing I love about it that people are way more spread out. Yes there's still people in gp, and crater. But it's so much better than normal

There are definitly still some groups and people playing together through discord coordination but it's way better than officials. And yes, killing IC did wonders for people to travel the map.

One thing I would for the devs to try out is grouping but only for the same species. That also would make nesting and offspring aviable for this mode which would be cool for s survival mode

Not only are there less mix packs. But because you have to grow from the start after every death, people are way more cautious before picking a fight. So even a large pack of mid tiers wouldn't instantly like the idea of fighting an eo that has his back to a cliff. Overall made the game less toxic

For me lambeo's greatest loss was its tail attack being reduced to a deterrent
since lambeo is currently geared to attack more frontally than from behind, it makes it hard to defend yourself against anything larger than maybe a small mid tier
its not ideal to risk getting repeatedly headshot when your damage and squishiness dont allow you to deter another 3 slotter (like allo or dasp) enough without crumpling like paper lol
I get that lambeo is supposed to be closer in line with 'support', but the ability to minimise most contact while dealing good damage via its tail helped it stay on par with other characters

I say death rattle no matter what, I use 2 different solo Kent builds, for damage and bleed damage is detonate and normal tail attack with status resist hide and fresh blood, which makes u do over 100 damage per normal attack to similar weight dinos, and bleed is normal tail puncture and fresh blood cuz bloodlust blows and ur reflective bleed on ur tail is all the bleed u need

4 or 5 hits on ur tail will max out similar weight creatures

Damage build is better when solo imo but puncture build is cool in a group

And also charge tail does less damage but more bleed than ur normal tail attack

to be honest, it's paranoia that kept me alive LOL, i avoided hotspots like the plague when i was small, kept the music really low so i could hear everything, and crouch walked/hid whenever i heard footsteps, hardly ever sprinted just to get to places in order to conserve my stamina in case i got attacked

i also stayed in really cluttered areas since it benefits me as an eo more than fighting in an open area, there's lots of things for my opponents to get stuck on around me at all times which has deterred most people from fighting me

i had one encounter with an adult conc at early adol but managed to survive and ran and safelogged when their hatz friend showed up somehow lol

for my spino, i did most of the same except grew primarily in the ocean and stuck to open water sources to use as escape routes rather than going inland at all to quest

the critters have some sort of circle where they're walking in and if they get scared away from that circle they start screaming and ofc run away from you, now if you stay near their line of sight in their circle they'll scream nonstop so just dont stay near them, for every critter (EXCEPT FOR PALEO BC ITS A NOMADIC CRITTER) they have their own circle around their critter house thing

People say that nesting wouldn't be possible because usually nesting is done by sending a message in chat saying eggs are ready, but I'd argue that could be solved just by adding a nest menu in the character select screen that showcases what nests have eggs available and what species they are, the parent could receive a notification in-game when one hatches

I have been thinking making this mode like duos could work in nestings favor. So like u still can’t invite people to the same server. But I can group up with 1 person if u find them roaming naturally. They could accomplish this by making everyone 1 slot then group limit 2 slot. Then that way u have room for 1 bby from nesting or just 1 teammate. That would also make this feel more like a survival mode too. Plus I like the idea you said of not being able to nest in someone else until your bby dies (or maybe until server resets/if bby logs out) but like say u regroup up with your bby later on or you are already in a full group; It wouldn’t allow u to nest anyone in. Like sure people could leave group then nest someone in but make it annoying. Like after leaving a group you can’t nest someone in for 20 minutes

Or just make it so u can only group up with juvies and they get kicked out of the group at adol

So, after playing Rhamp for a while I've noticed that people will literally hurt themselves just trying to attack you. I watched this Pycno jump off a cliff just trying to reach me, and a Campto literally kept getting attacked by aggressive AI just to try and hit me.

I played my solo rex for 4 hours and got ganged up on twice by a group. Usernames are included because that's so scummy to join solo perma death just to gang up on others... I wish there was some way to report these people, cause wow.
