Once I left I got killed by a hatz that was only using piercing bite while being on the air avoiding all my damage. Went into the woods with tights trees and it could still hit me with no consequences.
Yes the argument is “find a cave” but there is none and none the size of a Rex.
Basically ground Apexs are countered hard by Hatz. Which I guess makes sense but how can you have a Dino that’s impossible to counter… dumb frustrating.

1. I was in hotsprings when the hatz attacked. Not sure why y’all keep focusing on GP when I said after I left a hatz found me.

But the hatz would use the piercing peck in the air. It would do the running start, get right above where I can’t bite it, then peck me. Stomp can’t reach and neither does tail (obviously).
Went into thick trees and that didn’t do anything to help.
Legit if you’re an ground apex and a hatz has a pure apex killing build, there’s legit nothing you can do.
Not sure why the devs thinks making a flyer the most obnoxious and OP Dino is a good idea.

Hatz already is sluggish, and it has weird "nerfs" implemented to prevent hover, like losing more stam when slow flying and gliding than fast flying. To effectively fly a hatz you have to sprint fly and abuse the dive+pull up mechanic.
I think making hatz an actual slow flying glider would prevent it from flying back to you to revange kill with a supersonic speed and more realistic to fly as well.
